England has been at the heart of chaos for at least three hundred years.

They have publicly been screwing around with America since its creation up until WW1 when we came in and saved their asses from annihilation and in return our dear frenemy continues this faked friendship. I suspect they have been screwing with us since creation, and it never really stopped just went underground a bit.

Some of the shrillest detractors of good ship America on this very board are British subjects.

Who only ever loudly point out the flaws of this country but never their own terrible country.

Or their failed empires history of screwing everything up globally. Nothing good comes from these people it would appear and they appear terribly jealous.

Tisk tisk.

The good doctor will not fly in on the Tardis and fix your issues, and your lizard king has cancer.

It would also appear your ruling class likes diddling little kids.

What a mess.

They F-Ed up so many things for so long they now have turned on their own citizens/subjects by importing millions of barbarians for their Leftist Party Powers.

Two clever by half isn’t policy it only gets you so far!

Hell the Slimy Keir Starmer rode his Rape Gang Supporters all the way to 10 Downing Street! This wasn’t Leadership it was the further march towards oblivion!

It is time that the Citizens of GB take their country’s back from the Imperial Imbeciles!

Vote out the Demented Leftists Dictatorships and Deport their Imported Voters back to their Home Countries.

Mr.Wallace----I agree with your post but.......I believe the average citizens of GB are too addicted to the welfare rolls to bite the hand that supposedly feeds them (and millions of 7th century barbarians they have imported) but.....they may slowly be waking up but I think it will be too late. I think they are lost. Even the people in Scotland seem to be only electing the leftists who want to always control every last citizen----except muslims of course. And.....how do they put up with their wonderful socialized medicine. It is absolutely great unless you get sick and then like Canada, you are screwed.

But they have ran out of other peoples' money to spend. Fuck 'em. They are toast.

The ultimate Karma though is the near certainty the 7th century barbarian cohort are incapable of producing anything real. Let them all drown together.

Just get any nukes we have "over there" out of GB first.

Unfortunately, the same applies to the US. A huge portion of our populace is on welfare; we're trillions in debt; and millions of worthless, third-world parasites, including Muslim terrorists, are here waiting to wreak havoc. PLUS, we have a huge black population that isn't civilized and is regularly killing whites. We're in the same dire straits that infect GB, but ours is more spread out.

We've been undermining Starmer's attempt to censor the Internet and have been mocking him for several years now on top of Trump regularly humiliating the man on live television. Of course they hate us. They threatened to arrest Americans over social media posts.

Cankerpuss's avatar

I think it goes a little deeper than just internet censorship. I think it goes into the trillions and trillions in wealth that the British Empire lost when the 13 told King George where to go stick it. They've been pissed ever since. Rumor has it that the big banks in London, the banks that the billionaires go to for loans, have been actively working for at least two centuries to take back that which the Brits believe is theirs.

Then we have Mexico, still pissed about the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo actively working through illegal immigration and consulate provided anti USA propaganda attempting to take back Azetlan (southwest USA).

Might not be much America left if the USA doesn't get its shit together, stop fucking around with other poor-ass nations and get the troops home to protect the home land from the real enemy who has imbedded itself in our cities and towns and are voting in our elections.

The people of the poor countries were enslaved to the tyrants in charge for decades and these tyrants were trafficking drugs into our country, killing our people. They were also trafficking children for sex slaves, the most lucrative "business" in the world. The Mullahs in Iran have been chanting "death to America" for decades. So I'm good with what our President is doing! Why aren't those on the left screaming about the Mullahs marrying 13 year old girls or about women in Iran being stoned to death if they are raped, let alone those horrible costumes they are forced to wear. Feminists where are you? Oh right, they only get upset about family values and the anti abortion crowd.

Cankerpuss's avatar

I don't disagree with most of what you said. I think the only place where we differ is that I don't believe it is the USA's responsibility to resolve these problems for other nations. Those people need to rise up and correct their own problems. The USA is $38 trillion and counting. We can no longer afford to be the world's problem solvers.

BlueSky101's avatar

To be clear these tyrants were posing a direct threat to the US: trafficking drugs here, killing adults and children and trafficking children to sell to pedophiles in our country! Iran was going to nuke us first and the rest of the world bc soon they would have a nuclear weapon. I don't think a 38 trillion deficit or more would matter then, would it.

"There is not one redeeming feature in our superstition of Christianity. It has made one half the world fools, and the other half hypocrites."- Thomas Jefferson

Jesus is only a myth in a very old book of fiction, my friend. And the Christian God started all this killing and genocide in Gaza in the first place.

When one party comes armed with their Bible and a 2,000-year-old promise from their imaginary GOD, rational thinking goes out the window.

The issue will only be settled on the field of battle with iron and rivers of blood.

As we are seeing on Al Jazeera TV every day. Thousands slaughtered in the name of imaginary GODs. As it has been done since man invented GOD's. There are no winners.

ALL "GOD's" are imaginary. On the first day man created GOD. And the cause of untold human misery! Religion is just an evolution of superstition. Any rational and logical person can see that it makes far more sense that all religion is just man made. Theists who base all their religions that are no more than superstition, never ask themselves... "Why is my God REAL when all the others are FALSE?" The odds of GOD being real are non-existent.

Theist: What’s your religion? Anti-religious types mocking people online: Non-delusional.

The Bible was written, revised and edited many times by the religious for the religious. The last thing it is, is truthful, reliable, unbiased, impartial or a neutral source. Folks that belief the entirety of Bible are willing to sacrifice their humanity on the altar of a book that they can't even prove!

"Oh, but there's evidence for Gods existence! There are so many things! There's...... uhh......eeermm ... I saw God’s face and I talk to him!” Every fucking time.

The stories in these old books made the Church rich. While the truth lay outside of all of them. To be fooled is not an insult, to stay in the foolery is an insult to oneself.

The believer says NO AMOUNT of evidence could change his mind; the anti-religious says ANY AMOUNT of evidence could change his mind.

And what has Christianity done to you lately, Dennis? Put a Gideon bible in your hotel nightstand, leaving less room for your underwear? Blighted neighborhood homes and malls with colorful, decorated trees? Prattled on during the holiday season with stories of generosity and goodwill?

You must be so pissed. I totally get why you pop up here like a rabid gopher, blaming religion for the woes of mankind.

The formerly free and now free-ish western world has been brought to us courtesy of a Judeo-Christian worldview. Why? Because of the fundamental rights and dignity of every human being. That is the basis of Judaism, the basis of Christianity and the basis of our legal system, our medical system, and everything beautiful and good we ever built.

I can feel your petulant, teenage like vitriol rising up to point out the ills of Judaism and the ills of Christianity. Just like every teenager everywhere points out the hypocrisy of his parents. So let me point out to you, you ungrateful wretch, that these are the parents who birthed you, fed you, clothed you, raised you, and kept you safe from harm. Acknowledge that before you go all Kyle Menendez on us.

Please go to Kansas city and spew your anti-Christian sentiment there. You'll get some arguments, some agreement, and a lot of people who, like me on wiser days, ignore you. Now go to Karachi and spew anti-Islam sentiments. You'll find yourself headless before the sun sets.

I'm going to point out one more thing: the people I know who saw the covid gene therapy for what it was before anyone else were almost to a person evangelical Christians or religious Jews. Their tuning fork for the truth, including hidden truth, vibrated danger long before anyone else. Why do you suppose that is?

MarshaLouise's avatar

I am impressed with the case you elucidated for Dennis to help his morbid hypocrisy (as he enjoys the many blessings Christianity has bestowed on our nation). This is a magnificent response to his petulant prattle. Thank you, Gwennie!

Dennis L. Merwood's avatar

"You must be so pissed. Morbid. An ungrateful wretch! " LOL

The oldest religious psychological tactic (PSYOPs) in the book. It's so pitiful. In this case, tactics used by the religious to convey selected misinformation about atheists to folks to influence their objective reasoning. Developed by the military after WW2. The military ~ that paragon of morality. LOL

"And what has Christianity done to you lately, Dennis? Put a Gideon bible in your hotel nightstand, leaving less room for your underwear? Blighted neighborhood homes and malls with colorful, decorated trees? Prattled on during the holiday season with stories of generosity and goodwill?"

So Childish. Not going to work, my dears! Sorry. You are not going to shame me for expressing different believes than you.

If you would take off your glasses of hatred, so typical of Bible Bangers, and put all my words into context, then there would have no reason to attribute things to me the way you do. One can also have different opinions on fundamental matters. I have no problem with that. But I sense pure hatred in you and your religious teaching that makes you interpret things into my words that are in no way stated there at all.

If you think that religion does not impact human behaviour, then you are sadly mistaken. The first thing you learn in human psychology is that humans always rationalize what they do. Especially if they worry that their actions are unethical or immoral.

Religion allows the religious to justify doing things that they logically know are not right. When you have a religion that teaches supremacism, (the belief that your group of people is superior to others, should have authority over all others and hate everyone not of your religion) ~ then you have sown the seeds of things like war crimes and genocide.

Your posts here are great illustrations of the humiliating display of pride and the lack of empathy for others with different beliefs that Christians are infamous for. And proves that "Christian love" is just hate wrapped in condescension.

And I think your last paragraph is utter nonsense. Male bovine excrement. Betcha you can't prove that. Where is your peer reviewed paper in the literature that proves evangelical Christians and religious Jews have their "tuning fork" for the hidden truth.

First of all, who qualifies' as evangelical Christians or as a religious Jew? What are the requirement for that? Secondly, there is no such thing as a "Hidden Truth". The second something is claimed ~ it is either TRUE or NOT TRUE.

And what "hidden truth" has the religious Jew war criminal Netanyahu revealed to us? That the "hidden truth" is that's it's ok to attack those of a different religion and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys. 1-Samuel 15

This is the problem with respecting and not being allowed to criticize beliefs. How we get the worst parts of religion. You give them a inch and they take 100-miles.

Dennis, you confuse institutional religion with individual spiritual experience. Sure, the first acquires through its history a lot of questionable doctrines and nonsense as it gets mixed with worldly ignorance and power politics. Even as they are corrupted, though, most religions sustain an inner core connected with the genuine inspiration that gave rise to them.

In contrast, spiritual experience comes not from churches or mosques or any other manmade establishment. At best those can stimulate the individual to search in his own quiet hours for an infusion from God. It may come through meditation or prayer; it may come unbidden, a pure gift from the divine realm. Whatever the path that leads to it, the recipient knows a Truth that illuminates and transforms life.

Dennis L. Merwood's avatar

Vegan, nothing is so sacred that it cannot be mocked.

Religions deserve to be mocked.

I don't mock people for being religious. I do however mock those for thinking their personal religion is exempt from mockery.

An all-mighty God that is hurt by being mocked is not all that powerful.

BTW, nothing is more mocking than telling someone they are going to burn in hell forever for not believing what you do

I was trained as a scientist. Mathematics (with a few courses of philosophy). Then my whole career was as a Civil/Structural Engineer.

I don't believe in the paranormal or supernatural. "Supernatural is a vacuous term, because we do not know the limits of the natural world"

Spiritual either! Spiritual inspiration...you have to be kidding me! Cheech and Chong "I listened to Black Sabbath backwards when I was on acid and I had a Spiritual Inspiration. I saw God man".

Meditation.....pppppfffft! Don't have all day for that like a Yogi. A Truth that illuminates and transforms life.....

Prayer: Talking to oneself. “The man who prays is the one who thinks that 'God' has arranged matters all wrong, but who also thinks that he can instruct 'God' how to put them right.” Christopher Hitchens

Prayer has the same outcome as a coin toss, Only 50% of the time do you get what you pray for! George Carlin on prayer: “What’s the point of having a divine plan when any schmuck with a 2-dollar prayer book can fuck up your plan?” Just how many times has the Pope prayed for peace in the holy land? How has that worked out? He is at 0%, eh?

I see prayer as a way to get out of actually helping another human being and still believing that you did something. When you didn't ~ which is why I don't do it. I always think "Yeah, thanks even though I don't think it would actually do anything"

I'm God, and I know that I am God because when I pray I'm talking to myself.

God exists outside of time and space.

OK…so never and nowhere. I'll go with that.

Outside of time and space ~ another way of saying "imaginary".

The definition of a divine realm.

That "voice" folks here in their head is not God. It is you pretending to be God. It is your "Ideal" self. Freud called it your "super-ego". In short, we all create "God" in our own perfect image.

"There must be a creator". "Why"? "Because I'm mentally immature and can't understand science so 'God' is the only other option"

“Build a relationship with God and let him show you what is good and what is wrong." That is, become delusional and think you are taking advice from a supernatural being. The definition of insanity.

You talk to God, you're religious. God talks to you, you're psychotic.

My favourite type of theist: the kind that gets angry when you poke holes in his bullshit like it’s YOUR fault for not being gullible. They never lose a debate in their own minds. If you could reason with religious people, there would be no religious people left. It must be nice to go through life thinking everyone who disagrees with you has no integrity.

Theist: You cannot see, hear, touch or smell my all-powerful God.

Same Theist: YOU have the burden of proof to show me he doesn't exist.

A philosophical argument for God and a ham sandwich combined are worth slightly less than a ham sandwich. You can have as many philosophical arguments for “God”, or the spiritual, as you like, it doesn't change the fact that there's no evidence that there is one.

Vegan Shark's avatar

Who are you responding to? I've never said religions can't be mocked, and have often made fun of certain religious beliefs, rituals and practices. For that matter you are welcome to mock God. I don't care and God certainly doesn't.

As for the rest, you ignore the main point I made, which is that there is an inner truth often called the spiritual. Spiritual, my good man, not philosophical or theological. Spirituality in its essence isn't a belief system -- it's an experience.

God enters through a change of consciousness, not by accepting some logical proof. As G.K. Chesterton put it, there is no logic to the shape of a key. Its logic is that it opens the lock, and hence the door.

Rob Olsen Elder's avatar

There is a difference between religion and being a follower of Jesus. Encourage you to do an objective investigation reading the likes of The Case for Faith, The Case for Christ, Mere Christianity, written by avowed atheists who were persuaded by the evidence of the reality of Jesus, Son of God. Blessings to you.

Dennis L. Merwood's avatar

For me at this point pretending to respect people’s religious beliefs is an exercise in futility. I do not respect people who CHOOSE to be gullible and uneducated - and try to foist that nonsense onto me.

Telling your young children…. “He’s your God. You shall love him. If you don’t, he will torture you forever”. Demanding your kids love somebody they fear. The very essence of sadomasochism. How many kids has that screwed up for life?

“Jesus loves you” is incredibly hateful. Because the missing line after that is, "and if you don't love him back, you'll pay for it by burning in hell for all eternity."

"Open your heart to Jesus" is code for: you can convince yourself a non-existent being is real if you try hard enough.

I encourage you to do an objective investigation reading (difficult for a Jesus Freak to do, I know) of a theist who were persuaded by the non-existent evidence of the reality of Jesus, Son of God, and became an atheist.

Dan Barker received a degree in religion from Azusa Pacific University and was ordained to the ministry by the Standard Community Church, California, in 1975. He served as associate pastor at several churches: Religious Society of Friends (Quaker), a church in the Assemblies of God fellowship, and an independent Charismatic church.

In 1984, he announced to his friends, family, and co-ministers that he had become an atheist.

He is the current co-president with his wife Annie Laurie Gaylor of the Freedom from Religion Foundation, an American freethought organization that promotes the separation of church and state. The Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF) is an American nonprofit organization that advocates for atheists, agnostics, and nontheists.

Formed in 1976, FFRF promotes the separation of church and state, and challenges the legitimacy of federal and state government support for faith-based programs, such as chaplaincy services. It supports groups such as nonreligious students and clergy who want to leave their faith.

Dan has publisher many best-selling books:

(1992). Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist.

(2008). Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists.

(2011). The Good Atheist: Living a Purpose-Filled Life Without God.

(2023). GOD: The Most Unpleasant Character in All Fiction (expanded reprint)

(2018). Free Will Explained: How Science and Philosophy Converge To Create a Beautiful Illusion.

Dan was featured in a New York Times article about the growth of atheism in Southern states, has given addresses on his own "de-conversion" across the United States, and has participated in more than 140-debates around the country and the world.

Rob, ultimately, as with so many expressions it all comes down to intent. But the next time a Christian says, “Blessing to you,” notice how the sentence is used. Is it a kind expression of love and concern, or is it what it is meant to be ~ a slap in your face? "I am superior to you. I know the truth and you are ignorant!"

Christian love is best summarized as hate wrapped in condescension.

But if you want to bask in self-imposed victimhood over something happening between your ears, Rob, no one can stop you.

The Jews have been expelled from all over Europe and Asia, hundreds of times over the past 2000 years, and to look at their behavior today, the reasons for those expulsions is very obvious.

The Jews have been accepted into many places and given the opportunity to live in harmony with others, but they fail to follow the moral and ethical standards that are required to live in a civilized society.

Their religion teaches them they are superior to all other people, and that it is permissible, under Judaism to treat others with disdain and cruelty. Their religion teaches them they should not have empathy for other people as they are simply animals in human form, and only placed on earth to be used, exploited, and serve the Jewish people.

Today we see the Jews gleefully rape and kill innocent people, and even children without empathy or remorse. We see them commit the most horrible of war crimes on a daily basis and then their courts find they have done no wrong… After all how can a superior being be guilty of any crime for harming or murdering an animal in human form?

Today, we see with our own eyes, just how truly evil the Jewish religion really is.

Of course we had the usual RINOs who wanted to have their pic in the news and get invited to a few cocktail parties that they never before got to go with. What happened with the 60+ votes? Absolutely the same thing that happened prior to getting 60 votes------the Dem/Marxists still basically ran everything and they were the go to guys on the nightly news.

I was stationed in NY and my boss was in DC. I sent in a requested report electronically. Months later, I was asked to resend it because they couldn't find it. I did....this happened more times. Finally, I sent them a photo of a black hole and suggested that they look there. I never was asked again for that report.

The British establishment has to be in a complete mental breakdown what with their plans to sabotage any Ukraine peace failing and their support of the Iranians being blasted to kingdom come. They gave us debt living and fractional banking as well as ran or screwed up our foreign policy for many too many decades. The British have to be the source or inspiration of the old saw, watch your enemies, but watch your friends closer. With friends like the British, and by extension the EU, who needs enemies?

Thune is compromised is all we hear...and based upon his voting record and commentary prior to 2020 election there is plenty of fodder to support his being more of a Democrat than a Republican...combine that with his allegiance to McConnell and Schumer you can see why people do not care for his theatrics. The fact that the Congress would vote in such a majority about releasing the names in the Congressional Slut Fund only reinforces why most Americans are fed up with ALL of our Congress...But as long as they are able to cover for each other nothing will change...Many can be Never Trumpers and their allegiance to the Uniparty but their will be a day of reckoning...

Cankerpuss's avatar

What pisses me off more than Thune screwing around with the filibuster is that on the other side of the aisle, there are what, 48 Democrat Senators who are sitting their with their thumbs up their asses thinking that the SAVE Act is bad for America. 48 Senators who walk around with their snot filled noses in the air, acting as if they are God's gift to humanity, who can't think for themselves and vote for or represent their states. They sit there and vote just as ole Schumer tells them to vote. Worthless, pitiful excuses for humanity.

This bill should be passing without any opposition. No filibuster should even be considered.

The US Congress is the biggest do nothing waste of space ever known to mankind. An utter and colossal failure of grandios proportions. Americans should be pissing and farting about how useless the US Congress has become. But......TRUMP! But.........BIDEN! Nobody remembers that Congress is the Sovereign. That Congress can override a Presidential Veto. Instead, half of them sit and drool on themselves waiting for the party bosses to tell them what to do so they can maintain their committee assignment and participate in useless interrogations where they verbally abuse some poor American schmuck who bothers to show up after a Congressional summons. Gotta get that Tic-Toc soundbite.

Abolish the US Congress in its current form! Start again. Make it bigger. Make it a lottery and eliminate elections. For God's sake, DO SOMETHING!

The cheating has been going on forever- in every state, in every election, in every precinct.

NY Example- how do you think those staggering school budgets get passed every year? It's cheating plus, even worse, the idiot taxpayers can't be bothered to vote on the very thing that is forcing us out of our homes- the school tax.

Just look at the half the scum that gets "elected" including Shmucky, Cocaine Mitch, Thune, et al plus the rest of them. As we are seeing in Georgia, it's cheating on a grand scale.

And don't forget Commie Mandami, a radical Islamist, Hamas loving nobody who came out of nowhere and who is now Mayor of the once greatest city.

The first thing that Americans have to "get right" is to figure that just about everything bad happening in America and the rest of the world is being orchestrated by Communist China.

Fentanyl flooding the U.S.? Communist China via Mexico.

Illegal alien invasion? Communist China via paying off the Democrat Party to open the border (and letting in a lot of ChiComm military age men in the process).

Election interference? Communist China via Venezuela and other actors. And Communist China not just meddling in U.S. elections--elections in Brazil, and likely in Mexico and elsewhere, as well.

Islamic extremists acting out in Iran and elsewhere? Financed and sometimes armed by Communist China.

Leftist riots in the U.S.? Orchestrated by Communist Chinese operatives and often funded by Communist Chinese money.

Inciting regional instability in the Mideast, and in interior Africa? Not Israel nor Jews, it's Communist China.

Biggest lesson of all: the Communist Chinese now OWN the Democrat Party in the U.S. Just assume that any national level, most state level, and most major city Democrat politicians owe their allegiance to Communist China and you will be correct about 95% of the time.

Predictions can be difficult, especially about the future - to paraphrase Yogi Berra.

There's many possibilities for the future of the Middle East, but ending the skim operation of British banking and insurance companies off the flow of oil through Hormuz seems like a longshot to me. Especially if you consider the banking and insurance rackets are run by the sister puppets that run politics, law enforcement and the militaries 'round the world. Stepping back and looking at the Big Picture, things make more sense to me if you consider it a battle of remaining resources (think The Long Emergency) coupled with the corruption of "pilfering while the pilfering is good" before some other problem pops up at home.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is wheeling and dealing like there's no tomorrow (because there may not be, doomer sentiment vs reality you know), all the while making more enemies abroad and at home from what I can tell. I'm not one to believe voting matters much anyhow, but I would wager that whatever becomes of the SAVE Act will prove to be another taunt of law making from the Elites - safeguarding not the American voter, but their own sticky fingers calling all the shots. Sort of like the "patriot" in the Patriot Act and "affordable" in the Affordable Care Act.

Chanting "Death to America" is no different. It's just a chant by angry people. Iran hasn't invaded the USA or anyone else. Haven't bombed the USA either. I have never personally been threatened by Iran or anyone from Iran. Most Iranian immigrants I have met are kind, hard working people who actually bother to learn English. So a few of them don't like the USA. Can you blame them? Sanctions. Bombings. Missiles.

War benefits none but the fat cats. The rest of us are impoverished. I'm now paying $3.50 for a gallon of gas which, a couple of weeks ago was $2.39. Thanks a heap for that one, Mr. Trump!

Sorry, I am totally anti-war. The USA needs to stop picking on poverty stricken water starved economic non-powers and focus on the hidden enemy right here at home. The 30 plus million illegal immigrants. How many of them are military aged male mutts from who knows where? Mexico has designs on taking back that which it lost during the Mexican American war. Congress can vote (or in this case not vote) to make sure that our votes don’t count (through open and transparent fraud).
