I also suggest a much larger Congress. Nothing in the Constitution says Congress is limited to 435 seats in the House of Representatives. Why not have a Congress that is 5000 seats. The media - both news and entertainment - have now politicized nearly everything in our society as an extremely powerful mechanism of control.
Most people will not act to secure their future, so long as they feel they have an advocate fighting for them in the public or political arenas. This is why Republican vs Democrat equals divide and conquer (we fight amongst ourselves while they decimate our support systems and establish totalitarian control). The human mind is binary. Our thought process can often be boiled down into terms (often ultimatums) of – this or that – and our adversaries understand - very well - the art of this war.
(Instead of you taking control of the system or working to prepare for the worst (growing a garden, digging a well, strengthening your community, gathering supplies, and becoming resilient) you hold out hope for a politician to sweep in and solve your problems for you. There is only one place this lack of action can take us. Power corrupts and Washington DC is as corrupt as they come.)
They know that politicization (pitting us at each other throats regardless of relationship status - neighbor, co-worker, friend, family) is so effective at manipulating us because most emotionally connect their personal belief system to the belief system of their political party, and so then any attack on their party – legitimate or otherwise – is interpreted by their brain as an attack on themselves. Reason and logic then jump out the nearest window as raw emotion takes the helm, thus making them even more susceptible to the predatory controlling influences.

The least of these is the Judiciary. The Congress and the Presidency are supposed to check each other but the Congress ultimately can override a Presidential veto. The Judiciary, originally housed in the basement of the US Capitol, had one job. To review new legislation and determine the law's constitutionality. Even then, they weren't there to quash new laws established by Congress. All they could do would be remand it back to the Congress and tell them fix whatever issue was violating the Constitution.

When I lived in New York later, in the late 1980's and 1990's, I rolled my eyes at the stories of Trump and his escapades as reported in the tabloids, leaving his wife and running off with Marla Maples, boasting about this or that grandiose construction project, Atlantic City, etc. One of my employers explained to me that the reason New Yorkers loved the Trumps was because back in the dark 1970's when New York was in bad shape, the Trumps were the only developers who were consistently bullish about the future of the city, and their bright, can-do attitude helped lift the city out of economic despair. Yet I didn't care. If there was any class of people I disliked, it was real estate developers who destroyed lovely old buildings and replaced them with ugly glass towers. Anyway . . . fast forward to 2015. I necessarily rolled my eyes when Trump announced he was running for president. I supported Sanders. I ignored Trump. Then I overheard him talking, and a light went on. Something clicked. Today I believe -- in spite of all I had seen previously, all my early impressions from decades ago -- that Trump is a history-changing, remarkable, noble figure. I don't even think HE realized until very recently how much good he has been responsible for. In a way Trump never changed, always has been optimistic and filled with love for New York and America. But he has evolved and grown into something much more profound. I think JHK put his finger on a central part of it. Even Hillary. Clinton praised Trump for raising good kids. On the family level, when men were emasculated, divorce was allowed and then normalized, the destruction of the family was inevitable. Women cannot function without the care and guidance of their fathers before they are handed off to the care and guidance of their husbands. This has been known for millennia, but has been abandoned. We all suffer as a result.

Women. I love women. I am married to a gorgeous, smart, great lady who loves being a woman, a mother and a wife. I am a lucky dude to say the least. Other men? Not so much.
The feminist movement hasn't been good to our lady friends. It has left our daughters highly confused and stressed out. On one hand they have their biology screaming at them. Every year they age there are fewer eggs in their ovaries and they know that each menstrual cycle is one cycle closer to drying up. A female's body is designed by God to be an incubator for tiny humans. Once that tiny human is born that female body is a nutrition production factory. Everything about a woman's physical form and genetic identity is motherhood. Like it or not. Deny it all you want, that is the truth.
Then comes the feminist movement telling our women to abandon their biology and their genetic identity and go become fancy paper pushers, retail store clerks and para legals. In order to be fulfilled they must abandon motherhood, work 40 hours a week to pay a daycare to take care of their children, or, NOT have any children at all, and treat their men like shit so after 15 years of verbal and emotional abuse the man finally says "fuck it" and walks away from the marriage leaving the entitled feminist bitch alone, angry and childless. At this point she often becomes a hate filled lesbian.

In the meantime, these angry white feminist American women continue on in their insanity, loneliness and singleness. Some resorting to fathering their children using the local sperm bank. Others, try to adopt on their own. In the meant time their empty wombs scream at them and the biological clock continues to tick down, one egg at a time.

For older teenage boys, it might not be that damaging, and would certainly get them a high five from their buddies. For younger boys, I think it damages them mentally and forever affects their expectations and the way that they will interact with females their own age in the future. When I was in 7th/8th grade, we had a very flirtatious (and attractive) female teacher. I was too shy and afraid to do anything about it, but I have no doubt that a mature, and overly-confident 13 or 14 year old could have capitalized on the situation.
I remember as a 13 year old, just having puberty landing upon me like a ton of bricks, the exquisite anguish. I would expect that NONE of the men on this site would suggest otherwise.

Yes, women can have a career. They can be mothers. They can't be both. One or the other will suffer. If they choose the career then their children end up in daycare or being raised by a nanny. If they choose motherhood then their chances of ending up the CEO of a major corporation are not very good.

Personally, and speaking for myself only, I hold women who sacrifice a career to stay in the home, make a good home, and raise good, law abiding children who contribute to society to be the backbone of society and I put them in high regard. The influence mothers have on their children is powerful and is what makes a society.

I'm the same way. More of what I was thinking about is younger males going through puberty who all of the sudden notice girls. The feelings are overwhelming and can be quite destructive without the proper guidance. This is almost completely ignored by most, who on the other hand, drone on incessantly about all of the hormonal issues that women face.
As a matter of right, it is just expected that women are granted all sorts of accommodations and grace when it comes to their menstrual cycle, menopause, etc., but nobody seems to give a flying fuck about male hormonal changes, especially as it relates to young men with raging testosterone. They're just supposed to behave like perfect gentleman regardless of what is going on in their bodies and minds.
I once saw a nature show about a herd of elephants. Within this herd there were older, alpha male elephants as well as younger, juvenile elephants. They removed the older, alpha male elephants and detached them from the herd and observed the behavior of the younger males. Almost immediately after the departure of the older male elephants the younger male elephants became meaner. They began acting aggressively to the other elephants. Almost bullying them.
When they re-introduced the older, alpha male elephants the bad behavior of the younger male elephants ceased, almost immediately. What was interesting was the older alpha males didn't do anything to stop the behavior. Just their presence in herd alone, caused the younger male elephants to behave. They posited that the hormones of the older males had an impact on the behaviors of the younger males though they had no proof or evidence of that.

Most people will not act to secure their future, so long as they feel they have an advocate fighting for them in the public or political arenas. This is why Republican vs Democrat equals divide and conquer (we fight amongst ourselves while they decimate our support systems and establish totalitarian control). The human mind is binary. Our thought process can often be boiled down into terms (often ultimatums) of – this or that – and our adversaries understand - very well - the art of this war.
(Instead of you taking control of the system or working to prepare for the worst (growing a garden, digging a well, strengthening your community, gathering supplies, and becoming resilient) you hold out hope for a politician to sweep in and solve your problems for you. There is only one place this lack of action can take us. Power corrupts and Washington DC is as corrupt as they come.)
They know that politicization (pitting us at each other throats regardless of relationship status - neighbor, co-worker, friend, family) is so effective at manipulating us because most emotionally connect their personal belief system to the belief system of their political party, and so then any attack on their party – legitimate or otherwise – is interpreted by their brain as an attack on themselves. The Judical Branch acts as if they are more powerful than the executive branch. Yet they have only paper power. Until Trump either arrests or ignores these paper pirates the country will continue to be lost.

The Judiciary, under the Constitution, is the least of the three powers. The branch with the greatest power is the Legislature. The branch next to that is the Executive. The least of these is the Judiciary. The Congress and the Presidency are supposed to check each other but the Congress ultimately can override a Presidential veto. The Judiciary, originally housed in the basement of the US Capitol, had one job. To review new legislation and determine the law's constitutionality. Even then, they weren't there to quash new laws established by Congress. All they could do would be remand it back to the Congress and tell them fix whatever issue was violating the Constitution.
John Marshall and his "judicial review" ruling gave the SCOTUS and judiciary far more power than they were intended to have.

Anyway . . . fast forward to 2015. I necessarily rolled my eyes when Trump announced he was running for president. I supported Sanders. I ignored Trump. Then I overheard him talking, and a light went on. Something clicked. Today I believe -- in spite of all I had seen previously, all my early impressions from decades ago -- that Trump is a history-changing, remarkable, noble figure. I don't even think HE realized until very recently how much good he has been responsible for. In a way Trump never changed, always has been optimistic and filled with love for New York and America. But he has evolved and grown into something much more profound. I think JHK put his finger on a central part of it. Even Hillary. Clinton praised Trump for raising good kids. Whatever explains his success, his goodness in spite of the brashness, bluster, and b.s., it is a real joy to be watching.

Women. I love women. I am married to a gorgeous, smart, great lady who loves being a woman, a mother and a wife. I am a lucky dude to say the least. Other men? Not so much.

For older teenage boys, it might not be that damaging, and would certainly get them a high five from their buddies. For younger boys, I think it damages them mentally and forever affects their expectations and the way that they will interact with females their own age in the future. When I was in 7th/8th grade, we had a very flirtatious (and attractive) female teacher. I was too shy and afraid to do anything about it, but I have no doubt that a mature, and overly-confident 13 or 14 year old could have capitalized on the situation.

Yes, women can have a career. They can be mothers. They can't be both. One or the other will suffer. If they choose the career then their children end up in daycare or being raised by a nanny. I'm the same way. More of what I was thinking about is younger males going through puberty who all of the sudden notice girls. The feelings are overwhelming and can be quite destructive without the proper guidance. This is almost completely ignored by most, who on the other hand, drone on incessantly about all of the hormonal issues that women face.
As a matter of right, it is just expected that women are granted all sorts of accommodations and grace when it comes to their menstrual cycle, menopause, etc., but nobody seems to give a flying fuck about male hormonal changes, especially as it relates to young men with raging testosterone. They're just supposed to behave like perfect gentleman regardless of what is going on in their bodies and minds.
I once saw a nature show about a herd of elephants. Within this herd there were older, alpha male elephants as well as younger, juvenile elephants. They removed the older, alpha male elephants and detached them from the herd and observed the behavior of the younger males. Almost immediately after the departure of the older male elephants the younger male elephants became meaner. They began acting aggressively to the other elephants. Almost bullying them.
When they re-introduced the older, alpha male elephants the bad behavior of the younger male elephants ceased, almost immediately. What was interesting was the older alpha males didn't do anything to stop the behavior. Just their presence in herd alone, caused the younger male elephants to behave. They posited that the hormones of the older males had an impact on the behaviors of the younger males though they had no proof or evidence of that.
