I don't think any of the 100 million plus casualties of Communism in the 20th Century ever "went along with it". When someone or some group identifies with Democratic Socialism = Communism, they are declaring themselves a part of the tradition of lawlessness, mass murder, torture, lying, and cultural destruction that comprises Communism. There is no flirting or taste-testing or renting Communism. You are in for a dime, in for a dollar. Therefore, the phase of talking about this domestic problem needs to end, and the phase of combatting it needs to start, using the existing laws against treason and sedition. If that involves military tribunals rather than dilatory and worthless civilian courts, then, so be it. If it involves transporting Communists out of the country, so be it. Another angle that people often forget is that often both (or all) candidates for an office are already compromised, making the election irrelevant. Check the family trees of Presidents, and you find they're all related. Then check the family trees of their opponents, and.....same thing.

My reading program is nonfiction Ancient Greece, Rome and Middle ages with fictional pieces on mythology, fables and fairy tales. We do a kids version of The Odyssey. Second semester is American History and tall tales and books like Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I weave related poetry throughout the year. I actually grade penmanship. It's a paper pencil only classroom except for the scourge of testing.

I heard the other day that Minnesota has the highest per capita number of mosques with 2 per 100,000. The population of rural MN is 1.65 million. I still live in a part if the country where running your mouth will get you in a fist fight. True threats of physical harm will bring about escalating responses. My reading program is nonfiction Ancient Greece, Rome and Middle ages with fictional pieces on mythology, fables and fairy tales. We do a kids version of The Odyssey. Second semester is American History and tall tales and books like Farmer Boy by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I weave related poetry throughout the year. I actually grade penmanship. It's a paper pencil only classroom except for the scourge of testing.

It is a minority majority county and it went for the regular Democrat, not the DSA radical. The DSA candidate got less than 50% of the total vote statewide. There was a third wheel who I am uninformed about regarding whether less or more radical than the others or put in as a spoiler (by or for who?) and all that.
