Health insurance and higher education and groceries are less affordable than ever.
As a nation, we’ve alienated almost all of the strongest allies we’ve had for 80 years. Countries like Denmark and Canada and Japan have learned they should never again trust America to honor its agreements, while Trump cozies up to autocratic regimes like Putin’s Russia and Delcy’s Venezuela.

Canada's national defense is sourced almost exclusively by our Department of War. Look up their force structure (combatant ships, aircraft, tanks, artillery, and personnel). Denmark spends around 100% more than Canada on a per capita basis.

I live in Utah. Under Biden I never saw gas prices even come close to $5.00 a gallon. I recall they were a little over $4.00 a gallon. Now they are over $5.00 a gallon and climbing. That's where I was and am.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the working class in this country and whether either party really gets how powerful it is going to become. I’ve been taking Lyft a lot lately. And I’ve talked to the drivers who are being used and abused by that company, but forging ahead with usually half a dozen other work gigs. I’m against replacement immigration, but riding amd talking to this new working class, I’m in awe of their determination to do whatever it takes to get to the American dream. Many of them call it just that. And nearly all the drivers I’ve had want to talk to me about how lazy our American affluent class is. It amazes them how few affluent people even feed their kids properly, instead just having their children order from Door Dash (which many of them drive). They will tell me how they cook most of their meals and make sure their kids are getting proper nutrition. It’s clear to me where the strength of our population is going to lie in the future just from this. What irony: the elites are undermining their own power by poisoning their children with processed meals and producing low testosterone/estrogen/autistic spectrum/trans kids who have no will to work. We don’t even need a revolution. The future belongs to the working class and the political party that truly gets this will rule.

The affluent classes are not so affluent anymore. More importantly, they're not the ruling class. The ruling class consumes nutritious organically grown food and will not associate with anyone who wears polyester clothing. Their children do not attend schools. They're not taught how to do trigonometry or memorize the periodic chart of elements. They're taught how to rule over a cesspool into which they will never descend.
Unfortunately, the children of the elite are going to private schools where they do learn math, science, reading, etc. The problem is the teachers in these elite schools fill their heads with socialist mush within the framework of DEI. John, I agree. The politicians are selected by each party to run for a particular seat. They are then effectively bought and paid for and, for the most part, not allowed to have an independent opinion outside of the consultants and fund raisers who pay for each election. This is especially true of the House members of the Democratic Party who cannot vote outside of the Party directives. To so so means they will be cut off and the path to their millions disappears.
For the most part, those who are actually pulling the strings, have nothing to do with the people who are voted into office to "govern." I'm not suggesting that the elite don't allow their children to receive a top-notch education, and some may even place them into top notch universities to diversify their socialization skills. These universities do not instruct them on how to rule over the world though, and they're not going to get that instruction in any of these elite schools.
The families that rule, know how to preserve multigenerational wealth without having any direct connection to schools, banking, corporations or politics. Those classes are not only beneath them, they are potential competitors to their throne. This isn't a secret. Read the biographies of people like the Roosevelts or the Delano families. They were appalled and embarrassed at FDR for entering into politics. For them it was no different than an heir to their throne descending into the servant class. Today it would be equivalent to creating a YouTube channel and broadcasting your family's dirty laundry to attain viral video status.
Contrary to popular opinion, members of Congress do not make law. They're nothing but glorified page boys who run legislation created by corporate lawyers to the floor which is then rubber stamped into law. The President and Attorney General only enforce those laws which are expedient to the ruling classes, and when that doesn't work, we repeatedly see the power play between them emerging from obscurity into glaringly shameless and insulting narratives, political theater, and lawlessness. They openly violate the law with impunity. They topple skyscrapers. They weaponize vaccines. They destroy entire civilizations and societies. They brainwash the masses into believing that their opinions and votes matter.
Those who are among the top ten percent of wealth in the world are in competition with each other, and 80% of that wealth is held by less than 2% of that top 10%. You and I don't really even see the top ten percent, much less that top 2%. We see people like George Soros, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Warren Buffet. They're part of the system, but those who control that system are the ones who hold the reins of power and wealth. Most people have no clue how much wealth some Arab sheiks have, and even they're not pulling any real strings to control the world.

If this requires some trade, then I would get them started with that as soon as possible. I, on the other hand, listened to my parents, went to college, got a degree, owed a ton in student loans and have now been stuck in a dying white collar job for 25 years.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the working class in this country and whether either party really gets how powerful it is going to become. I’ve been taking Lyft a lot lately. And I’ve talked to the drivers who are being used and abused by that company, but forging ahead with usually half a dozen other work gigs. I’m against replacement immigration, but riding amd talking to this new working class, I’m in awe of their determination to do whatever it takes to get to the American dream. Many of them call it just that. And nearly all the drivers I’ve had want to talk to me about how lazy our American affluent class is. It amazes them how few affluent people even feed their kids properly, instead just having their children order from Door Dash (which many of them drive). They will tell me how they cook most of their meals and make sure their kids are getting proper nutrition. It’s clear to me where the strength of our population is going to lie in the future just from this. What irony: the elites are undermining their own power by poisoning their children with processed meals and producing low testosterone/estrogen/autistic spectrum/trans kids who have no will to work. We don’t even need a revolution. The future belongs to the working class and the political party that truly gets this will rule.

John, I agree. The politicians are selected by each party to run for a particular seat. They are then effectively bought and paid for and, for the most part, not allowed to have an independent opinion outside of the consultants and fund raisers who pay for each election. This is especially true of the House members of the Democratic Party who cannot vote outside of the Party directives. To so so means they will be cut off and the path to their millions disappears.
For the most part, those who are actually pulling the strings, have nothing to do with the people who are voted into office to "govern." I'm not suggesting that the elite don't allow their children to receive a top-notch education, and some may even place them into top notch universities to diversify their socialization skills. These universities do not instruct them on how to rule over the world though, and they're not going to get that instruction in any of these elite schools.
The families that rule, know how to preserve multigenerational wealth without having any direct connection to schools, banking, corporations or politics. Those classes are not only beneath them, they are potential competitors to their throne. This isn't a secret. Read the biographies of people like the Roosevelts or the Delano families. They were appalled and embarrassed at FDR for entering into politics. For them it was no different than an heir to their throne descending into the servant class. Today it would be equivalent to creating a YouTube channel and broadcasting your family's dirty laundry to attain viral video status.
Contrary to popular opinion, members of Congress do not make law. They're nothing but glorified page boys who run legislation created by corporate lawyers to the floor which is then rubber stamped into law. The President and Attorney General only enforce those laws which are expedient to the ruling classes, and when that doesn't work, we repeatedly see the power play between them emerging from obscurity into glaringly shameless and insulting narratives, political theater, and lawlessness. We don't have a democratic government. We're not supposed to either. We're supposed to have a Constitutional Republic, but we don't have that either. We have a government of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations. The purpose of government is to tell you what to think and how to think it. The etymology of government literally means to govern one's thinking, and as Orwell usefully observed, if you want to know what the future looks like, imagine a boot stomping on a face forever. The real question is why do people think it matters which boot we should vote for???

Regarding the statement from LHGrey at the top of the article; The men of this country have taken a back seat, in the name of courtesy and chivalry for decades. We pretend that the accomplishments of women that reach fractions of the accomplishments of high achieving men is somehow equal or even better. When in reality the highest achievements of pretty much any woman had already been accomplished time and time again by men, many of the average sort. I'm talking exploration, invention, physical output. After decades of this, leadership has been relinquished to women and weaker men, until now the type of man it takes to really lead is very uncommon. God gave us the clear path of headship and we are reaping what we've sown by ignoring it.
I think The Blob and the Globalists realized a long time ago that it was much easier to corrupt virtually any institution if it was being run by women, diversity hires, and sexual deviants. This certainly explains most university administrations.

I told my boys that I want them to figure out what they like to do and where their talents lie and I would help them start a business when they were in high school that they could then start working part time and then full time, right away, as soon as they graduate. If this requires some trade, then I would get them started with that as soon as possible. My neighbor growing up, started cutting lawns when we were in high school, and now he owns one of the largest landscaping businesses in our region. I, on the other hand, listened to my parents, went to college, got a degree, owed a ton in student loans and have now been stuck in a dying white collar job for 25 years.

As for your link, it rather illustrates my point. There is an interesting discussion to be had about executive authority, bureaucratic resistance, and institutional constraints. But that is quite different from the recurring promise that some great reckoning is perpetually imminent.
Things happen. Some are consequential. My skepticism concerns the rather reliable transformation of each development into evidence that this time the deluge is finally upon us. I’ve simply heard “just over the next hill” rather a lot.
Perhaps we have yet to find out how deep the "Deep State" is?
