Pithy and to-the-point. In fairness, even if he’s certifiably nuts, he’s assured of at least 47% of the vote.

It's almost as if he's running a campaign from the basement of his house.

Jose Pinto's avatar

He is. He is also counting on a water main break at 3:00am in the vote counting center to let the mail-in votes arrive.

I believe that was a toilet problem, but close enough.

Pizza boxes for all the windows; nothing to see here.

Fund raisers all over the country for an election in Texas. Why does that seem undemocratic? Shouldn't Texans be choosing their candidates? If you can't get donors in the state you're running in, maybe the voters don't support you. Maybe the polls are a lie?

In Florida the pretend Republican Donalds took like 90% of his $100+ million fron out of state sources.

Sadly, this out-of-state financing is common as mud with both parties.

There is no "both parties", only the 2 wings of the Uni-party....

Read Article IV, Section 4, U.S. Constitution.....

Maybe Talarico had of moment of clarity and needed Suicide Intervention at a Mental Institution. Too much guilt from hanging out with scumbags like Mamdani and Robert DiNero.

And don't forget the OTHER HRC.....No, not Hilary Rodham Clinton, but the "Human Rights Campaign", - they're major funders of the "trans" Psy Op.....WHY would "Tally-ho" need to attend one of their fundraisers in NYC?....how much $$$ did he get from that?....

And maybe Talarico came to the realization that taking God's name in vain and pretending to be a Christian wasn't too good for his soul when he is a tool of Satan.

UncleBob9's avatar

That would require a conscience. He has none.

The American media went in the tank for JFK in 1960, and have never come out.

Cover, evade, excuse, liberals, and non-stop lies, slander, and attacks for Conservatives.

They haven't changed a lick in 76 years.

UncleBob9's avatar

They went in the tank for FDR, with a few exceptions he tried to destroy. Not to worry: they're all Democrat organs now.

Robert de Niro's and others' involvement in fundraising in NYC for a Texas senate race tilts the scales on the case for repealing the 17th amendment.

Dennis Habern's avatar

De Niro needs to keep his shit out of American politics and return to acting, for what he's

worth, if anything. He knows that he is a has-been, and is attempting to obtain revelance

in politics. I do not view him running for any major position at the federal level, because

it would be too embarrassing for him to be confronted by his Republican candidate. I agree,

that Fetterman would make a good Republican.

Is anyone checking the Flock cameras? Everyone’s whereabouts are on video. It might be easier to find his physical locations than it is to find where he really stands on his previous statements.

Liber8or's avatar

Good idea. And check the flight records for the tail number on the jet.

My theory, for whatever it’s worth: he got a major drubbing by unhappy donors at those fundraisers for saying stupid shit, and his internal poll numbers are in the toilet.

His campaign then effectively shut down in an attempt to remake his image and overhaul their strategy and messaging.

We shall see how and if any of that works out watching his campaign going forward. But he first has to run the gauntlet he created by going MIA for over 10 days. The media will do all they can to cover the story…with a pillow until it stops moving, but so far, his weak sauce and inconsistent excuses seem to be creating an even larger issue.

It’s a mess because he’s a mess.

Let us pray there is still some semblance of intelligence within the greater Texas electorate to “disappear” him, once and for all.

Interesting theory and may actually be what happened.

Even if the flu story is a flat out lie (which I'm pretty sure it is), you can tell just by studying his face that he's not up to the job of being anything more than a sixth grade English teacher.

Freedom 4 conservatives's avatar

Talarico isn't even up to that level. I don't think that even could even make it the "Would you like fries with that?" level. You have to ask just how lazy and stupid Democrat voters have to be to vote for a lazy, worthless, stupid scumbag like Talarico. It's not difficult to figure out why so many Democrat voters are either welfare bums, criminals, and/or druggies--they are incapable of serving any productive purpose whatsoever. All they "qualified" to do is to be parasites. I look upon them the same way I look at blood-sucking, disease-carrying ticks and mosquitoes.

The only person who succeeded in overcoming this kind of press was Fetterman when he had a breakdown (stroke? Never heard the right of it.) after getting elected. And while he's weird (which is the "kettle calling the pot black," in my case), he's been so stand-up on several issues, Trump is urging him to turn MAGA! Talarico is just a flat-out nutter. Anyone who espouses the drivel he spouts has to have a screw loose. Keeping track of all those screws must be exhausting. Kudos to him for seeking help before he had a complete melt down in public and blew the DSA's last hope (they're in deep doodoo - have you noticed the resignations, arrests, faux pas and backpeddling lately?).

The Talarico caper is just the latest in a series of events that shows the utter contempt that candidates of both parties have for the American voters.

The fix must be in good and hard for this freak to assume that he can get away with his disappearing act this close to election day. Meanwhile, Ken Paxton, who shouldn't have to worry one bit, seems to be having problems of his own even though he has plenty of GOP money and what many consider to be a stellar record.

Again- the pols don't care. Biggest example ever: can anyone say Mitch McConnell who was MIA for some 3 months and then magically regained his Senate seat as a human vegetable? There was one excellent girl reporter that I saw on X/Twitter who was at the McConnell house on a daily basis asking questions, getting right in their faces. None of them spoke to her. Just kept hiding Mitch and collecting their none too shabby salaries that we pay for.

Like I said- their contempt for the voters is obvious. They can get away with anything and they do. Trump has the only answer that works: make it too big to rig.

PS: 92 year old fossil Chuck Grassley is putting in the paperwork so he can run again to remain in the Senate till he's 100.
