It's really not that different from the EMP in Seattle (or whatever it is now called)--then colors are different, but that's about all. A non-entity of a building trying hard to be an entity--it reminds me of a narcissist trying to get me to look at him, her, whatever. Sad that architecture has spent the last 80 years degenerating.

Personally, I've always imagined a cathedral built somewhere in the mid-west that is so spectacularly grand, you can spot it from 20 miles away on the interstate.
Magnificently huge, cavernous, built along the designs of other world famous Cathedrals.
Imagine a Notre Dame type Cathedral but 5-10 times as big. Hard to imagine, but that's what I'de like to see built...maybe Nebraska, maybe Colorado, maybe Iowa. ?
Well, we did have the Hagia Sophia cathedral in Constantinople/Byzantium... but the Muslims overtook the center of Christianity there centuries ago and turned it into a mosque. Then it became a museum in the 20th century; now I'm not sure if it's a mosque again?
Maybe in Trump's final year in office he can retake the city and we can have this historic place of Christianity returned to its rightful owners? THAT would be justice, and a sign that we're not going to let Islam destroy all that is holy and good...

Their agendas dictate the abolition of criteria for what is deemed "beautiful." It's a spear into the throat of much of the great glory of Western civilization.
