"When the arraignments begin, the derangements will ebb. Just watch and see."

We've been waiting years for something substantive to occur. It had better happen soon as this madness cannot go on much longer. Indeed, it may be too late.

The statute of limitations has been running on much of what was most obviously criminal. I am far from optimistic that those deserving prosecution will face it.

RICO? For example Nancy Pelosi spoke out about J6 the other day about Trump causing the Chaos that day. She thus updated the statute of limitations to 5 more years should she be indicted.

Think of it like the Final Destination movies. There is a specific end determined for you, and you may dodge it for awhile, but eventually it will find you. So, yeah, they're dodging their final destination now, but eventually, by their own hands, it will find them. You have to wait and watch. It's always the little, seemingly insignificant things that bring down the giants.

Not a lawyer, but I’ve read in several articles that because these crimes are all linked to the conspiracy to take Trump down, which they are, then the statute of limitations does not apply…seditious conspiracy will be the overriding charge, it seems.

That’s why Bondi was a terrible choice to start with and must be fired. The Comey/James case botched deliberately to let them skate. Why President Trump is okay with this? I wish I knew.

Initially-Secret Report From 2013: Customs & Border Patrol Agents Got in Way of Vehicles, Then Used Deadly Force

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izonttr5Tp4

The shooting in Minneapolis has generated a great deal of interest, far and wide.

I just got a message from a friend who is currently on a fishing boat in the south Pacific and he heard about the shooting from locals in a drinking establishment after he got ino port a few days ago. Apparently it's been the talk of the village. A few hours ago he sent me this unsolicited comment:

"I had independently formulated the view from analysing the footage from multiple angles and cameras that Ross had positioned himself (just) in front of the vehicle as it moved back so that he could shoot the driver as soon as it started to move forwards. He is drawing (but not aiming) his gun as he steps in front of the reversing vehicle. The trajectory of the car is of course towards him as it begins to move but moving forward from a reverse means that the actually velocity of the (accelerating) car is quite low.

At this point he does the classic matador footwork firing down and at an angle through the windscreen. He then completes this classic footwork pivot (I have trained and used this many times with non projectile weapons - technically this is a 'nice' application) and fires twice into the drivers side window as the (now faster) car moves by. He then yells "fucking bitch" at the woman who he has shot and walks down after the car to check the outcome. His team then prevents immediate medical help from a passing doctor ensuring that the victim will bleed out before anyone else gets close to her.

The most critical information comes from Ross' cell phone footage.

Good makes eye contact, smiles and speaks nicely to her killer as he walks past her drivers side window taking footage. She is in fact trying to deescalate the situation although he has said nothing and she has not yet been called upon to get out of the vehicle. While the situation alone may have been enough I hypothesise that there is something about him that has scared her (and she is deliberately playing cool). He walks around back and passenger side and Good's wife gives him a verbal serve. Something like "You wanta come at us [now why this choice of words, I suspect she is also being triggered by something we cannot see, note phone/camera is held in his right hand] ... why don't you go get yourself some breakfast instead big boy".

Here IMO is the critical observation. At exactly this pont Ross changes the phone into his left hand as he continues to walk around the front passenger side and the front of the car to where he will fire his first shot. That is at the is point when he has been riled by jibes from Good's wife, and before he then steps in front of the car, and with absolutely no situational cues at that point, he begins the process of clearing the path of his right hand to draw his pistol and steps in front of the reversing vehicle.

Now see this police report on the use of this technique as a widespread practice to set up and justify use of lethal force by DHS agents in 2012. Note that Ross joined DHS in 2013.

Initially-Secret Report: Customs & Border Patrol Agents Got in Way of Vehicles, Then Used Deadly Force

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izonttr5Tp4

At this point I conclude that this was a premediated homicide deliberately carried out in such a fashion as to be presented as a defensive act in a split second  by an officer in fear of his life. Very neat indeed."

I would add a few points:

It's been claimed that the wheels of Good's vehicle were "spinning" on ice after she started the vehicle.

There is good reason to belueve that people often misinterpret engine revs or slight wheel slip as “spinning”, especially on ice.

If the wheels were spinning, would it materially change the analysis?

Mechanically / physically

• A vehicle transitioning from reverse to forward on ice will, by definition, have very low initial forward velocity, regardless of wheel spin.

• Wheel spin on ice reduces actual force transfer to the ground.

• A spinning wheel indicates loss of traction, not effective acceleration toward a target.

• A vehicle with spinning wheels is less capable of controlled directional threat, not more.

This is key:

Wheel spin does NOT equal increased danger to a person who has chosen to step into the vehicle’s projected path.

Legally / use-of-force doctrine

In most use-of-force frameworks (including US federal LE):

• The threat is evaluated based on objective imminence and necessity.

• An officer creating the danger (stepping in front of a slow-moving or traction-limited vehicle) undermines a self-defense claim.

• Courts routinely distinguish between:

• a driver accelerating toward an officer who is already trapped, and

• an officer moving into the vehicle’s path.

• Spinning tyres do not strengthen a self-defense argument if the officer had space, time, and alternatives.

• In some cases, they weaken it, because they suggest low traction and low effective threat.

Bottom line

Even if tyres were spinning, that fact alone would not materially justify lethal force if the officer voluntarily placed himself in front of the vehicle during a low-speed transition.

This is a classic post-hoc justification tactic:

• It reframes loss of traction as aggression.

• It shifts attention from officer movement choices to vehicle mechanics.

• It relies on public misunderstanding of vehicle dynamics.

From an analytical standpoint:

• It does not rebut the central claim that the officer placed himself in danger.

• It addresses perception, not necessity.

Could spinning wheels mean Ross was “saved” by reduced acceleration?

Yes, in a purely physical sense, reduced traction reduces acceleration.

Does that support a claim the driver attempted to strike him at high speed?

No — not without additional, independent evidence of intent, such as:

• deliberate steering toward him,

• sustained acceleration once traction improved,

• lack of alternative escape path,

• officer already being trapped.

Wheel spin alone cannot bear that inferential weight.

Bottom-line calibration (very important)

• The defense argument that Good attempted to strike Ross with the vehicle and failed only because loss of traction limited acceleration is permissible but thin.

• The prosecution rebuttal is structurally stronger than the defense argument, because:

• it aligns physics with use-of-force doctrine,

• it centers officer agency rather than vehicle mechanics,

• it avoids speculative counterfactuals.

If this were before a jury, the “spinning wheels saved him” claim would not be decisive — and could easily backfire.

How a prosecutor / civil plaintiff would dismantle that argument

Core rebuttal

Wheel spin weakens, not strengthens, the claim of imminent lethal threat — especially where the officer created the danger.

Step-by-step rebuttal

1. Wheel spin proves loss of control, not homicidal intent

• On ice, throttle input is often necessary merely to regain steering authority.

• Spinning wheels are consistent with:

• attempting to reposition,

• attempting to escape,

• attempting not to stall.

• There is no reliable inference of intent to strike from wheel spin alone.

2. Low traction = low effective threat

• Wheel spin means reduced force transfer.

• The vehicle’s actual forward velocity — not engine noise or RPM — is what matters.

• A traction-limited vehicle is less capable of controlled targeting.

3. Officer-created jeopardy doctrine

• If the officer voluntarily stepped into the vehicle’s path:

• He manufactured the appearance of danger.

• Self-defense law does not reward self-created emergencies.

• Wheel spin does not cure that defect.

4. Counterfactuals are legally weak

• “If the road weren’t icy” is speculative.

• Courts assess what was, not what might have been.

• The actual conditions at the moment matter.

The decisive issue neither side can escape

This is the hinge point, legally and analytically:

Who controlled the geometry of the encounter at the critical moment?

If:

• the officer had lateral space,

• the vehicle was slow or traction-limited,

• and the officer stepped into the projected path,

then wheel spin does not rescue a self-defense claim.

In fact, it often damages it, because it shows:

• the vehicle was struggling to move effectively,

• the threat window was not instantaneous,

• escape was available.

Good was violating 18 U.S.C. § 111, which prohibits “assaulting, resisting or impeding federal officers." Can involve up to 1 year in prison.

There’s also 18 U.S.C. § 371 — “Conspiracy to commit offense against the United States,” which carries five years in prison."

The funders and organizers of these harassment campaigns (handing out manuals with tactics to use, organizing online, encouraging protestors to use their cars to block federal officers, etc.) could fall into that category.

Don't kid yourself for a minute. The funders of this want a confrontation to happen where one of their useful idiots is harmed. Then they can escalate their narrative and make the story about the federal response. They don't care about criminal illegal aliens being deported and they don't care about protestors being harmed. This is a method to expand their ideology using well meaning but misguided and naive people to be their "resistors."

Federal Agents have pretty much left the protestors alone. That may change now.

Operation Chaos continues, at the expense of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness by the non-government-agent portion of the population. When I attended college in Minneapolis in the early 1980s, I did not imagine the initial gay parades (or was it the music from Prince?) would lead us to this. It's a purple haze/rain all right.

Do you drive around him or over him?

Is it Phil harmlessly standing on a soapbox telling everyone crazy shit about Trump? Drive around, of course, with a nasty honk, and a yelled "get out of the road, dumbass!"

Or does he have a brick and thirty other people pulling white people out of cars and beating the shit out of them?

Is there a safe path around him and his mostly peaceful friends?

Your choices again run him over or get pulled out of your car and beaten to a pulp or even murdered. If there is no path out, hit the horn and tell him, I will run your ass over, get the fuck out of the way.

Rioters are not pedestrians!

The law regarding driving through riots is complex and varies significantly by state, but the general consensus is that drivers do not have the right to deliberately drive into a crowd unless they reasonably believe their life is in imminent danger. Several states have enacted specific laws that provide civil or criminal immunity to drivers in certain circumstances.

General Legal Principles

Self-Defense: In all states, the use of deadly force (which can include driving a vehicle into a person) is legally justified only when a driver reasonably believes it is necessary to protect themselves or others against death or serious bodily injury.

Duty to Retreat: Some state laws have "stand your ground" principles, but a driver generally does not have a duty to retreat if doing so would put them in more danger.

Obstructing Traffic is Illegal: Protesters do not have a First Amendment right to block public roadways and impede traffic. Unlawful obstruction of a public street is typically an arrestable offense, and in some states, a felony.

Prosecution Theory of the Case

(Officer-Created Danger and Unjustified Lethal Force)

Introduction

Members of the jury, this case is not about hindsight. It is about choices — choices made by a trained federal agent in the seconds before he fired the fatal shots. The evidence will show that the defendant created the very danger he then claimed justified lethal force, and that his use of deadly force was neither necessary nor reasonable under the circumstances.

1. The Encounter Begins Without an Imminent Threat

You will see video from multiple angles, including the defendant’s own phone recording.

That footage shows:

• The decedent seated in her vehicle.

• Calm verbal interaction.

• Eye contact, smiling, and an apparent attempt to de-escalate.

• No commands given to exit the vehicle.

• No weapon displayed.

• No sudden or aggressive movement by the driver.

At this stage, there is no imminent threat — and no lawful basis for deadly force.

2. The Defendant Anticipates Lethal Force Before Any Threat Emerges

As the defendant walks around the vehicle, something important happens.

He transfers his phone from his right hand to his left.

This is not accidental.

This is not reflexive.

It clears his dominant hand — the hand he uses to draw his firearm.

This occurs before the vehicle moves forward in any meaningful way and before any credible threat to his life exists.

The prosecution will submit that this action demonstrates anticipation, not reaction.

3. The Defendant Voluntarily Places Himself in the Vehicle’s Path

Next, the defendant moves to the front of the vehicle.

The evidence will show:

• He had lateral space.

• He was not pinned.

• He was not boxed in.

• He was not struck or dragged.

Instead, he steps into the projected path of a vehicle that is transitioning from reverse to forward on an icy surface — a maneuver that necessarily involves low initial speed and limited traction.

This is a critical point.

Law enforcement training universally teaches officers not to place themselves in front of vehicles precisely because doing so manufactures danger.

4. The Vehicle’s Movement Does Not Justify Deadly Force

The defense may argue that the vehicle posed a deadly threat.

But the evidence will show:

• The vehicle was moving slowly.

• Any wheel spin indicates loss of traction, not effective acceleration.

• Loss of traction reduces control and speed.

• The defendant was able to step laterally as the vehicle passed.

A slow-moving, traction-limited vehicle does not present the same imminent lethal threat as a vehicle accelerating rapidly toward a trapped officer.

And importantly, any danger that did exist was created by the defendant’s own positioning.

5. The Shooting Itself Shows Control, Not Panic

You will hear about the firing sequence:

• An initial shot fired downward through the windshield.

• Follow-up shots fired through the driver’s side window as the vehicle moves past.

This is not indiscriminate firing.

This is targeted, sequential engagement.

Such controlled firing is inconsistent with a claim of blind panic or unavoidable split-second fear.

6. Post-Shooting Conduct Undermines a Self-Defense Claim

After the shooting, the defendant:

• Uses hostile language toward the wounded driver.

• Walks after the vehicle.

• Does not immediately render aid.

While post-event conduct does not alone determine guilt, it is relevant to assessing whether the defendant was acting out of genuine fear for his life.

7. The Law Does Not Excuse Officer-Created Danger

The law is clear.

An officer may not:

• Create a dangerous situation,

• Step into harm’s way,

• And then claim self-defense when that danger materializes.

Deadly force is justified only when it is necessary to prevent imminent death or serious bodily harm — not when an officer manufactures the appearance of such a threat.

Conclusion

The prosecution is not required to prove that the defendant planned this encounter hours or days in advance.

What the evidence does show is that:

• He anticipated the use of lethal force,

• He placed himself in the vehicle’s path,

• He fired at a moment when retreat and avoidance were available,

• And he did so under circumstances that do not meet the legal standard for self-defense.

We will ask you to find that the defendant’s actions were unreasonable, unjustified, and criminal.

Sue Thompson's avatar

The legal standard is the objective reasonableness of the action from the perspective of the officer, not your thesis-volume justification of something that occurred within a couple of seconds while you get to analyze for hours while sitting on your comfortable couch reviewing videos.

Sue Thompson's avatar

Minnesota Statute 609.066, signed into law by Gov. Tim Walz in 2020:

Subd. 2.Use of deadly force.

(a) Notwithstanding the provisions of section 609.06 or 609.065, the use of deadly force by a peace officer in the line of duty is justified only if an objectively reasonable officer would believe, based on the totality of the circumstances known to the officer at the time and without the benefit of hindsight, that such force is necessary:

(1) to protect the peace officer or another from death or great bodily harm, provided that the threat:

(i) can be articulated with specificity;

(ii) is reasonably likely to occur absent action by the law enforcement officer; and

(iii) must be addressed through the use of deadly force without unreasonable delay; or

(2) to effect the arrest or capture, or prevent the escape, of a person whom the peace officer knows or has reasonable grounds to believe has committed or attempted to commit a felony and the officer reasonably believes that the person will cause death or great bodily harm to another person under the threat criteria in clause (1), items (i) to (iii), unless immediately apprehended.

You're WOKE, not AWAKE!!!

AwakeNotWoke's avatar

You just outed yourself.

You are a leftist. The US supported the communists in WW2 and fought against the political right. The Nazis were not, as idiots like you believe, "socialist" or "left wing."

The claim that the German Nazis were “socialist” or “left-wing” because the word socialist appears in Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP) is a name-based fallacy that collapses under historical, ideological, and empirical scrutiny.

Below is a clear, evidence-based rebuttal.

1. Names are propaganda, not ideology

Political movements often mislabel themselves for strategic appeal.

The Nazis deliberately used “socialist” and “workers” to attract working-class voters away from Marxist parties, which were genuinely left-wing and far more popular among German workers in the early 1930s.

Once in power, the Nazis destroyed actual socialist and communist organizations.

Historical parallels:

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is neither democratic nor a republic.

The Patriot Act undermines civil liberties.

“People’s” or “Workers’” in a party name has often been used by explicitly anti-left regimes.

A word in a title is not dispositive; policy, doctrine, and practice are.

2. The Nazis violently eradicated the Left

If the Nazis were left-wing, their first actions make no sense.

Immediately after taking power (1933):

The Communist Party (KPD) was banned

The Social Democratic Party (SPD) was banned

Trade unions were dissolved and replaced with a state-controlled labor front

Thousands of leftists were imprisoned or murdered (Dachau’s first inmates were communists and social democrats)

This was not an intra-left dispute; it was extermination.

3. Nazi “socialism” rejected core socialist principles

Socialism—across its major traditions—centers on:

Class analysis

Internationalism

Worker control or ownership of the means of production

Opposition to inherited hierarchy

Nazism rejected all of these.

Nazi ideology instead emphasized:

Racial hierarchy, not class struggle

Ultranationalism, not international solidarity

Private property, provided owners served the state

Authoritarianism, not worker empowerment

Hitler explicitly rejected Marxism as “Jewish” and viewed class politics as corrosive to national unity.

4. The Nazi economy was not socialist

The Nazis did not abolish capitalism.

Major industries (Krupp, IG Farben, Siemens, Thyssen) remained privately owned

Industrialists profited enormously under Nazi rule

The regime privatized several state-owned enterprises (railways, steel, banks)—a fact noted by historians such as Götz Aly and Adam Tooze

What existed was state-directed capitalism, not socialism:

Private ownership + state goals + repression of labor

This is closer to corporatism or fascism, not the left

5. The “left wing of the Nazi Party” was purged

Early on, some figures (e.g., Gregor Strasser) promoted a pseudo-anti-capitalist rhetoric.

What happened to them?

They were murdered or sidelined, especially during the Night of the Long Knives (1934)

Hitler explicitly chose industrial elites and the military over any anti-capitalist faction

This decisively settled the question of what kind of regime Nazism was.

6. Every serious historian classifies Nazism as far-right

This is not controversial in academic history.

Nazism is universally classified as:

Far-right

Fascist

Ultranationalist

Racialist

Anti-liberal and anti-Marxist

This consensus spans:

Liberal historians

Conservative historians

Marxist historians

The “Nazis were left-wing” claim appears almost exclusively in modern polemics, not scholarship.

Bottom line

Nazism was not socialist in any meaningful sense.

It was a far-right, fascist, racial-nationalist ideology that:

Destroyed the Left

Preserved private capital

Rejected class politics

Replaced socialism with racial myth and authoritarian rule

The presence of the word “socialist” in the party’s name tells us about Nazi propaganda, not Nazi ideology.

We've been done this road before. They put money on all the numbers on the Roulette wheel so they never completely lose; a foot in every door. But they do prefer some outcomes. Do you really think they wanted the agrarian South to hold off the industrial North? Of course not, BUT they gave money to the South too. Now apply this to WW2. Are you up to it? I mean can you even see the analogy I just made?

If they really wanted the South to win, they would have given far more money and brought in British troops too.

Do you really think Wall Street wanted the Nazis to win? How does that tie in with Globalism and blending Whites out of existence? Make an argument, a real one. I'm listening.

A biased account of the scene. Immediately inaccurate when it states the “killer” was at the driver’s window, but somehow was also on the other side of the car with the wife.

It forgets one thing, she put herself at risk by being there in the first place. Purposely aggravating the situation in a highly charged scene was almost suicidal. The officer had been involved in a drive away three weeks before, he was a loose cannon. Look closely, he is filming the scene, especially the driver, up to the point that she shifts into drive, then pulls the gun, intending to use it. There is no doubt about that.

A rule for these “protestors”, “ When you mess with the bull, you get the horn”. When approached by a cop, of any sort, do what you are told. They do not have those sidearms for no reason. Society selects cops to protect itself from the thugs.

These women were playing chicken with the cops and sometimes violence will occur. They had fun, until it wasn’t.

In the bad old days in Oakland, if your actions were within Departmental regulations and policy, you would be backed to the hilt, public opinion and politics be damned.

If you were without that policy, you would be thrown to the wolves...prosecuted even. I was a principal in one of the largest internal affairs investigation in the history of the department (up to that point), and the Department backed me up. I had a buddy from recruit school, however, who had his apartment raided by vice, where they found a few marijuana seeds in his vacuum cleaner...terminated with a felony conviction.

Who can forget the Somali cop who shot past his partner's nose to kill an Australian yoga teacher in her night gown who had called them in the first place. White, in a white gown - she must have seemed like a ghost to this worthy. He made a brief statement and that was it for 8 months. No nothing from the state. That's Somali power in the Twin Cities. Nah, been staying close to home for winter, JAZ. Been working around the property mostly, clearing brush and removing a few trees. Sometime I'm holed up here for days on end. I'm pretty sure when I drive down to the coast on the first mild day of the season -- sometime in mid march, a 40 mile trip -- the shoreline will look pretty much how I left in October. One weather variation that I do notice is more high wind days than in the past. Not sure what it means, if anything.

How are things in the West?

Phoenix is warm, 70s as highs and 40-50 as the lows. Flagstaff though looks like Colorado with the ski area doing well. Our winter has been wet, ha, we had two storms come through from the Pacific, unusual. We never have a lot of wind, as we usually do not have the storms. Lots of Sun.

Thanks for the long and thoughtful comment. There is a lot to process as time goes on and more information comes out.

Maybe it's because in my youth I was a crazy hippie chick and had my own nasty run-ins with the cops, I have never been a fan of police fetishization wherein they can do no wrong.

I am MAGA all the way and will support President Trump forever, but I am getting a little tired of the "law and order" crap where no one on our side is allowed to question anything done by the police.

My first reaction to this shooting was that she totally deserved it and got what was coming to her. Maybe because I am rightfully prejudiced against women such that I cannot stand bitches like Renee Good, that I was willing to jump on that bandwagon. I thought this was FAFO all the way.

But there are two sides to every story, sometimes three.

Thanks Kathy. I can't believe what mixed feelings I have about this. I would never say this was "murder" by any means. And she was really "asking for it" in so many ways. But somehow it doesn't seem right that she paid for her stupidity and derangement with her life.

Years ago I was part of a group that was trying to abolish the corrupt police department in our NY town. This was way before BLM and defund the police.

We didn't need the local police force because we had other coverage by the sheriff and state troopers.

To say that our PD behaved badly would be an understatement. They were violent and out of control. They intimidated the town board and the citizens. In short they behaved like criminals and thugs.

Eventually we were able to abolish the PD but not till after a civil war.

I am so sick and tired of the goddamn politicians who get elected with their BS promises to help the tax slaves. I can't find even ONE OF THEM who will help me find government money for the business owner.

You need to be put in the same exact situation as that ICE officer, then see what YOU do. If you were intelligent, you would do what he did. If you are a brainwashed leftist moron, you would get run over.

You made a typical leftist diatribe--perverting the facts to fit your sick narrative. In most conservative states the level of threat that justifies the use of lethal force is:

If a victim reasonably feels that he or she is in danger of imminent danger of serious personal injury or death from an assailant, the victim may use deadly force to defend himself or herself. Good was in no danger of sustaining serious injury or death from the ICE officer(s) UNTIL she attempted to commit vehicular assault against the ICE agent. The ICE officer absolutely WAS at risk of imminent serious personal injury or death from Good when she drove toward him (and did hit him). He was fully justified in killing her. Leftists are trying to make Good into a martyr for "dying for the cause." Good was a moron who physically assaulted a law enforcement officer doing his sworn duty to enforce the law, and Good got herself killed as result.

Just the previous day in that same city......this very thing with Renee Good happened....to another person involved with ICE agents. Months earlier the ICE agent involved took 33 stitches in a similiar incident with a vehicle. This was on the minds of these ICE agents. Renee Good should have gotten outta the vehicle and really should have "observed" from the sidewalk like everyone else. Classic case of FAFO.

The previous day in Minneapolis, a Cuban illegal immigrant used his vehicle as a weapon. It ended with his vehicle crashing and everyone luckily was not killed....though some minor injuries. The Cuban was arrested and will be deported. This is what was in the minds of the ICE agents commanding Renee Good to get the fuck outta the vehicle.

" Half the women in this country look like they could be harpooneers on the whaler Pequod." This is the most honest take of women who get tattoos. Its disgusting. I hope I live long enough to see these women at 70. They will appear as bruised bananas; their overpriced detailed body artwork diminished to blurry, unrecognizable stains.

Sheila Wise's avatar

I tried telling that to my daughter, as she continued to cover her body in tattoos.

It makes me sick seeing the beautiful child that came out of my body, now covered in tattoos!

So often, I see females at gatherings who have on beautiful dresses, their hair and make-up done just right, and ugly, gross tattoos covering their arms. The tattoos make all the rest of the beauty disappear!

Cankerpuss's avatar

I read once that women tattoo themselves and pierce their faces because they hate themselves and this act is some kind of subconscious act of self punishment.

I was in the grocery store this weekend and I needed help finding a certain product. I approached an employee of the store, a young woman, probably in her early twenties. a white girl. When she turned to face me after I called out to her what I saw was a fairly attractive young woman with dark hair and pale skin. Then I looked at her face. In her nose and lips were at least 6 studs and piercings. I looked at her face. She made eye contact with me, caught me gawking at her self mutilation, and she looked down. She never made eye contact with me again during our interaction. Her voice was muted as if she was afraid to talk. This girl was a total loser. I could tell the moment she avoided making eye contact with me. It broke my heart. I wanted to tell her in the kindest way possible that she was a beautiful girl and to take those awful metal railroad spikes out of her nose and her face and embrace her feminine beauty. I didn't. Once she had found my desired product she skulked away and disappear around the corner of the aisle to hide until her next dreaded customer interaction.

Self hatred. It's the only reason that makes any sense as to why women, young women especially, do this to themselves.

Tattoos remind me of graffiti on the side of unused railroad cars. And, to be honest, I find I am seeing more and more tattoos on women than on men.

Roger Kimber, MD's avatar

You should go back to the store and find her & some excuse to talk to her and say what you wanted to say. It sounds like she regrets what she did to herself (likely at a time of emotional distress).

Cankerpuss's avatar

Meh. She'd just tell me to go to hell or mind my own business. I'm just a tired old white dude. What do I know?

Roger Kimber, MD's avatar

You don’t know that. You may be the supportive grandfather figure she never had or the alternative to the actual sexual or physical abuser that she actually had to endure. If you decide to do it, be sure to bring your wife along or someone who looks like she could be your wife.

Cankerpuss's avatar

Perhaps, but I in reality I am quite a timid soul who tries really hard to leave people alone. In return I just want them to leave me alone. This girl went to work to do a job, she probably wouldn't like having some stranger tell her how to live her life. So, I demure from telling her what a loving parent should have told her many times before.

She now has two children, no education and is living with a man who can't be bothered to put a ring on her finger and commit to her. He drives a truck, she works at UPS. They have no money, or so they claim, but they always seem to have money for booze and tattoos. Or, at least, credit cards.

This was a girl who was raised to NOT engage in this kind of a lifestyle.

American women are bat shit crazy. It doesn't surprise me at all that young men have no interest in this and would rather jerk off to AI porn these days. Not that that does them any good either. Porn is as addictive and mind numbing as alcohol.

Yeah Cankerpuss, there's always money for booze, cigarettes, tatts, weed, and lottery tickets lol.

The ones that get me are the ones always begging me for a $20 "loan" (yeah right!) "because I just need a little gas money please Dennis."

Standing at my door stinking to high-heaven of Tobacco.

In NZ, the gubmint, trying to quell smoking by young people, has put HUGE taxes on tobacco and fags. That little pouch of backy is NZ$85 I think! No shit!

Does it do any good? I dunno.

'One huge cia op' another installment in the series

[CIA agents are tight-lipped, but Steinem spoke openly about her relationship to The Agency in the 1950s and ’60s after a magazine revealed her employment by a CIA front organization, the Independent Research Service.]

Childless & unmarried, Steinem refused to put anything about family and children in the Equal Rights Amendment which Betty Friedan, a mother of 3 had requested….Steinem is bitter & evil yet young women glorify her.

Candis's avatar

What gets me is how easily the majority of men take on the leash.

Ben's avatar

The nose rings or coke carbs a small earring in the side of the nose, I find very repulsive.

Does snot shoot out of the little hole when you blow your nose?

Is the bull ring so your boyfriend or girlfriend can tie you down at night or lead you around BY THE NOSE?

Asking for a friend.

Cankerpuss's avatar

The piercing I find most odd is the huge gauge stud these girls put through their tongues. I saw one girl who had one so large she couldn't shut her mouth. Of course, she was obese, had purple hair and was covered with tattoos.

Ben's avatar

Or the damn earlobe holes that some stretch until they tear, and it costs them five grand to get it fixed.

I suspect it is to make themselves stand out, but since all the younger kids are doing this, not modifying yourself makes you stand out far more.

Cankerpuss's avatar

I always chuckle at the dudes and girls who take the little discs out. They are left with this stringy floppy thing under their earlobes dangling down to their shoulders.

Dennis L. Merwood's avatar

Ben and Cankerpuss

As a young hippy at University in NZ in...1968...oh dear! I am fuckin old!

I had my long blond hair down to my arse, and one pierced earring.

Cool huh! Flower Power baby!

One day I was combing my magnificent long locks and ripped that loop earring clean out! Ouch ..fuckin hell ~ lots of blood and screaming!

Continuing this story......

I married a gorgeous tall CA girl in Wellington NZ. Oh man!!!!!!! ( My redneck NZ Dad reckoned my dick was a larger part of my brain..and "why don't you get your fuckin nose pierced then!") LOL

My new bride suggested that if we go to Murica, and meet her Dad, best I get a haircut. I cut it off, and we sold the locks to a wig maker.

Anne showed her Dad a photo of his new son-in-law. She told me many years later that he said.."Jeez honey, his hair is pretty long eh!" LOL

We flew to Arkadelphia, Arkansas...Holy cow..talk about culture shock!

"Where you from honey? .."uuh, I'm from New Zealand"

"That's nice. We got a boy at the local University who is from Saudi Arabia too" WTF! LOL

Then my new Father-in-law took me to his Lions Club meeting for lunch. And I got to find out why all the University grid iron team is black guys.......you don't want to know! LOL

Dad wanted to buy us a new car for a wedding present. We went car shopping in Littlerock. The Buick salesman pulled me aside...."Son, you know that this car was made right here in St Louis!" hahaha... we bought a Chevy Vega (US$2,999) instead of the new Ford Pinto with the exploding gas tank. And drove to the HEPUSEF gas station to fill up at 40cents per gallon. And set out on I40 to LA ~ right in the middle of the 73-74 gas crisis and Tricky Dicky deciding to resign! "I am not a crook!" What a country eh!

End of story:

We repaired my pierced ear hole. New diamond stud! LOL

Only to find out in Murica it was in the wrong side! I was a homo! LOL

BTW, the NZ Māori call a queer......wait for it...... a "shirt lifter!" LOL

Has the Meds Cart arrived yet?

EDIT: Salesman: Its $2,999. Me: OK we will take it! Poor old Dad nearly had a heart attack about his new son-in-law. Fuck, this moron my daughter picked does not even know how to barter the price down! (In NZ you had to wait for months and then pay the dealer under the table to get a new car! LOL)

Ben's avatar

Thanks for the share, I enjoyed reading that.

Very well put. And, while we're at it, can we make a conscious effort to reject the emotivism that brought us same-sex "marriage." For example, we might say, "the woman she thought she was married to," instead of acquiescing to the foolishness and referring to her as "her wife."

RMRDVM's avatar

What is the attraction to having body piercing or extensive tattoos (not cheap)? If this attracts men to women, who is it they're attracting?

The ink within the skin is likely absorbed incrementally into the body. What's the body doing with it? Stuff that's supposedly 'inert' can become local irritants and a nidus for cancer to develop. When you're young, you don't worry about appearance in the future (if they make it to 70). Oh well, the price they pay for being 'stylish'.

Byron Allen Black's avatar

All that ink, and the mysterious cocktail of chemicals within it, are going to infuse through the skin into the bloodstream, nice and gradually. A few moons later, a very unfortunate reaction might occur.

COPILOT: "Tattoo ink is generally considered safe when applied by licensed professionals, but it is not biologically inert—pigments can migrate from the skin into the lymph nodes and bloodstream, where they interact with the immune system. While most people experience no serious health effects, research shows that tattoo inks may contain heavy metals, preservatives, or nanoparticles that raise long-term safety questions."

RMRDVM's avatar

Please share all your credible researched sources as to how the physical system deals with this and exactly what is in all these 'inks'. It would be helpful to have that ammunition for the readers of this to supply that information to those they hope to dissuade from getting tattoos.

I only have anecdotal professional experience of over 40 years to support my observations. If that information is out there we should share.

i can't believe these women give two hoots about "immigrants" -- they just want to "stick it to Trump" who is the ultimate masculine authority figure these. they have daddy issues.

Valerie's avatar

One hundred percent on the daddy issues.

Cankerpuss's avatar

They have daddy issues because men aren't permitted to be real daddies anymore. It also doesn't help that women screw whatever "man" will have them, get pregnant, have the baby and the man that screwed them is long gone.

Don't blame this on Dads. I know a lot of men who mourn their children because their wives divorced them and then poisoned the minds of their children against their fathers.

Lugh's avatar

Yes, the almost invariable slandering of the ex. Women's darkest nature revealed. But there is more, much more. We know because women use the internet as the diary now. Many women are enraged when their husband gets sick. They can't stand to see him take a nap or sleep in. He's no better than a broken appliance! And yes, they don't like to see him having a good time with his friends, assuming he still has any.

The pundits of the Men's Movement estimate that perhaps 10% of women have the capacity to see men as human beings, as an end in themselves and not just servants or slaves. Just things to be used and abandoned.

Cankerpuss's avatar

Paychecks. Nothing more.

JohnAZ's avatar

One more, the narcissism of females today is growing. Simple, they are incapable of sharing themselves with a family, a man, children. Pregnancy is a bitch, childbirth is shattering. Can you imagine any of these Karens putting having a baby as worth sacrificing themselves for? No way. Why does it seem to be increasing? ????

Cankerpuss's avatar

And abortion today has become a means of birth control. Unfortunately, many women who have abortions as a means of birth control live the rest of their lives with feelings of guilt for these actions.

Dennis L. Merwood's avatar

Jeez Cank! Here we go again! Leave it alone eh!

Enough preaching...you are not good at it! LOL

Cankerpuss's avatar

I'm not arguing or stating otherwise the merits of abortion, DM, just stating that many women today use it as a means of birth control. Now I know that a smart dude like you can agree with that.

No, I am not a preacher. Just an old jack mormon with an opinion.

Ben's avatar

I have a 70-year-old aunt who had a couple of abortions, and she does regret them to this day.

Candis's avatar

Daddy (and mommy) issues are a huge part of the Cluster B pathology.

Cankerpuss's avatar

They are lashing out. They are pissed off because their lives are shit and they know it. Feminism has screwed these ladies and turned their minds into mush. They are living a monthly battle between biology and society. Biology is winning but the battle is getting ugly. The fairer sex ain't so fair anymore. No wonder men aren't interested.

Women, white women especially, are nature or God's penultimate creation. There is nothing more beautiful than a feminine self caring woman. I don't care if she is a little heavy or a little thin. All women have inherent beauty if they will just care for themselves and have self pride. Most men don't care if their women are a little heavy or a little thin, they just want a woman to love and a woman who will get naked with him. It's not that complicated.

We are enduring the results of a feminism and a feminized society. The roles of men and women are inside out, upside down. Nature will correct this in time. It has already begun.

Cankerpuss's avatar

I should also add, most normal men want a woman who will take care of herself, get naked with him, but also will have his children.

Watched an ad on the teevee a few days back with a dude meeting with his financial planner to plan a safari to africa. The wife says they can also plan for a "baby." The man says "babies" and the woman firmly states "BABY" in a corrective manner.

Men still want children. They want women. They want to love a woman.

Women don't want any of this anymore.

Dennis L. Merwood's avatar

“It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies...” - George Orwell. 1984.

PaxAlto's avatar

Apparently these women swallow their slogans with junk-food chasers.

Dennis L. Merwood's avatar

Appreciate all the "likes", but now I have found another version of this quote with an added ending: ......."and nosers-out of unorthodoxy." Wonder what that refers to?

"It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy."

"In "1984," George Orwell's portrayal of women is multifaceted, encompassing both critical and sympathetic elements. While he often falls into misogynistic stereotypes, the characters of Julia and Katherine serve to highlight the oppressive nature of the Party and the potential for resistance. Orwell's work invites readers to reflect on the roles of women in society and the impact of totalitarianism on personal relationships, making it a significant topic for discussion in feminist literary criticism."

It strikes me that the people who are attacking the ICE officers are bullies. They would never see themselves that way. But they are actually in a position of power. They can pretty much say and do what they want, but the officers can fight back in only the most limited of circumstances

and with only limited force. ICE are likely to get in serious legal trouble if they fight back at all - even if they use reasonable force in response, they face media attack, public attack, lawsuits, and prosecution by overzealous liberal prosecutors. The bullying dynamic is even more the case when these men are being attacked by women - most men have been socialized not to hit women, and it’s never a good look when a man is using force against a woman. Especially a man in law-enforcement/military garb. The woke establishment takes the side of the protesters reflexively. The bullies know all this and are emboldened by it.

Annette kimball's avatar

But the “police” are Federalized in this situation…..can be pardoned, if need be, by PDJT immediately……correct me if I’m wrong!

Brian's avatar

Maybe, but think of this: Would you like to be ICE Officer Ross right now? I think he has been put into hiding for his own protection. From the bullies.

When I was a young boy I would do sleepovers at my cousins house, a brother and sister. He was one year older ,she one year younger. Unlike other cousins and friends I knew, these two hated each other. Not typical sibling rivalry , but hatred. I saw first hand why the brother hated her. She would literally smack herself hard enough to show, then go to her dad and say see what he did. He would then deny to no avail while receiving the business end of a belt. Horrified beyond belief I happened to catch a glance at her, and the look of satisfaction on her face I will never forget. It's the same look I'm witnessing now on every leftist who says murder. murder !

Good article James, but I disagree on one point. You write " Becca will have that on her conscience forever, alas." Perhaps a sliver of a guilty conscious may fleetingly arrive, but it will be drowned out by the accolades being parceled out by the woke folk. She's more likely thinking what a wonderful person she is .

PaxAlto's avatar

My sister used to pull that "he hit me!" stunt...until my dad caught her doing it. What followed was the sweetest revenge I have ever known.

Cankerpuss's avatar

I had the same thing happen with my older sister. She had a temper and she was raging on me daring me to hit her. My Dad walked into the room the moment she was doing it. I expected my Dad to come down on me and much to my surprise he came down on my older sister. Hard. She never did that again.

My Dad was always very protective of his children, especially his sons. How I miss my father.

Mark Livingston's avatar

My younger sister, who I used to babysit with two other, younger siblings, tried to blackmail me when she was six, saying, "you better let us stay up or I'm going to tell Dad you were hitting us." So I let them stay up till my parents came home and explained the situation. Revenge is a dish best served cold, as they say.

Have to agree on Becca. Plus she stands to collect a cool million and a half from Go Fund Me in addition to whatever she can make as a paid spokesperson for chaos.

They were the ones who weren’t asked to the prom, asked out on a date, invited to parties, to sit at a lunch table, to join a team, participate in an event. They had no special attributes or talents, they went unnoticed or if noticed, with scorn or mockery. And now they’re getting even.

If those two are from Minnesota, they’re from the wrong side of the tracks, which isn’t saying much, given Minnesotans spend half their time holed up indoors because it’s too cold to be outside. They haven’t experienced the hustle bustle of NY, the sun and fun of Miami.. this is the high point of what is proving to be a short window that is their meager time on Earth.

Given Good’s history. Failed marriages, three children, two of which were abandoned, I’m guessing she slept with anybody who gave her the time of day. Who can possibly know, understand, predict the psyche of women.  More than permission, by which I assume he means "a meaning to life", I think it can happen to most Americans because we, society, are now fixated on politics.  It replaced religion, relationships, community, social circles, clubs.  It creates and validates right and wrong.  It overrides reality and creates its own.  All laws and justice are administered in relation to political party.  Our entertainment complies with political trends and agendas.  Sex is political.  We are a giant Jim Jones Kool Aid chugging party.  Welcome to the warmth of collective insanity. Drink up ladies.

nedweenie's avatar

Who knows? Other women do. But we're traitors and obstructions to the feminist "equality" cause.

JohnAZ's avatar

Women used to be an anchor for society, helping to stabilize the insanity of men.

Thank you feminist movement, you have done away with much of that, equating men’s insanity onto the “new woman”.

Look around to see the results, instead of stabilizing things, the feminists have jumped right into the insanity pool.

nedweenie's avatar

One of the main tenets of modern feminism is that in order to be free and equal, women must behave like men. Against their natures and bodily limits. It ain't workin' out.

Cankerpuss's avatar

No, its not and nature is going to reclaim everything and make it back to what it should be. Women are baby factories. That is the entire nature of their creation. Incubators. Food factories. All for children. They are reminded this on a monthly basis when the cramps and menstrual cycles hit. Biology doesn't care about careers or degrees.

JohnAZ's avatar

Men and women are different between the ears. Women trying to be men are causing insanity?

Cankerpuss's avatar

Or women being constantly told they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to be real women.

JohnAZ's avatar

By other women!

I kid my wife about women competing against themselves with appearance. Entire industries exist to support women trying to outdo other women.

High heels, especially spikes, cosmetics, nude dresses, crazy hairstyles, mutilating and dangerous plastic surgery, and maybe even tats and piercings.

Correct me if I am wrong. Mother Nature insists that women do this stuff to be attractive to and seduce men, and men are the aggressive folks that allow themselves to be seduced, willingly. Hormones are a bitch.

Gwennie's avatar

I am a woman who regrets that women have the right to vote, which gets me in trouble every time I say it. Politically, women are extremophiles: the nost radical group demographically are single, childless women, and the most conservative are married women with children.

This is a topic that makes me very sad. Men and women are natural allies and there is so much effort to separate us. Women are socialized to view men as if they are wayward, misbehaving women who need to be lectured and scolded back into proper behavior. And porn wires the male brain to see real women as sexualized, defective appliances. This is an unhappy state of affairs for everyone involved, and most of all for the children, increasingly rare, born of such union.

Fertility and fecundity in the west are in freefall, and most countries of the west have fallen over the demographic cliff, the point beyond which populations do not generally recover. Our leaders have flooded western countries with replacements, who do reproducce, ensuring civil war for all of us sooner or later. The west needs traditional women, mothers, desperately. We need traditional men, warriors, desperately. And it needs people passionately devoted to parenthood.

Whenever I look at homes for sale, I laugh at the fancy signs, in beautiful cursive, in the laundry that say "Laundry", the farmhouses with signs that say "Farmhouse", the kitchens with signs that say "Eat." I keep waiting for the sign above the marital bed that says (I feel olite this morning) "Procreate." Still waiting.

In any western country that survives this, or more accurately, any village, the old ways are coming back.

Cankerpuss's avatar

I don't mock people for being religious. I do however mock those for thinking their personal religion is exempt from mockery. Nothing is so sacred that it cannot be mocked. Religions deserve to be mocked.

An all-mighty God that is hurt by being mocked is not all that powerful

The Bible was written, revised and edited many times by the religious for the religious. The last thing it is, is truthful, reliable, unbiased, impartial or a neutral source. Folks that belief the entirety of Bible are willing to sacrifice their humanity on the altar of a book that they can't even prove.

Created sick and commanded to be well. The Christian believe that God made us imperfect and punishes us if we don’t get well. Commanded to love someone you fear. The very essence of sadomasochism. Showing everything that is so sick about Christian beliefs.

The stories in these old books made the Church rich. While the truth lay outside of all of them. To be fooled is not an insult, to stay in the foolery is an insult to oneself.

There are but two reasons for worshiping a God. The hope it can do something FOR you. And the constant fear it can and will do something TO you.

Having access to God doesn't mean having access to reality. If God creates souls he knows are damned to hell that means he's a total POS. And it makes you a POS if you believe in that!

---------

Everyone is born atheist. Religion has to be taught. Atheism doesn't have to be taught. Atheism is the only true default position when it comes to the question of 'God'. The only way to prove atheism wrong is by proving that a 'God' exists.

Atheists don't tell theists that they will be eternally tortured for their beliefs. Who's being more vitriolic?

The most vitriolic atheist doesn't hold a candle to theists who murder or even subjugate in the name of their god.

We all know that the ONLY one that could possibly prove God's existence to EVERYONE is God himself. If he's there he's hiding and doesn't want us to know him or him us. That's all I need to be convinced that the God of the Bible does not exist. The simple, honest, inevitable conclusion for any honest and unbiased thinker.

-------

God picked this version of the universe, and he will burn you forever because he loves you so much, after creating you to not believe. Yeah, makes sense...!

If God knew his creations would end up being tortured why create us?

Weird how any real "God" would still remain hidden after 1000's of years from mortals he demands worship from.

Christians: "Jesus loves you". Me: "Why did he tell you?"

I love the "you need to be looking for him" stuff. Quick question: "Why?" Christians really don't understand this: I don't believe in God. I do not believe there is anything for me to be looking for. They think that because belief in their God is important to them, it should be important to me. It's really not.

"You Only Have Two Choices: Obey God Or Burn In Hell Forever!?" There are other options, such as don't obey and don't burn in hell cuz it doesn't exist.

---------

I learnt a long time ago that once theists are cornered, they like to end the conversation, so they don’t have to deal with the answers they don’t like. You have to deal with people of differing views; I can be less confrontational if you’d like to be less smug.

“The achievements of theologians don’t do anything, don’t affect anything, don’t mean anything. What makes anyone think that ‘theology’ is a subject at all?” - Richard Dawkins.

For me, the bottom line is always Truth. The question must always be; "Is it True?" That is the only way to make the best choices for ourselves, as well as our society. Even the most inoffensive religious belief systems introduce unsupported claims and take us away from the path of Truth, robbing us of the ability to make the best decisions in our lives.

The lack of critical thinking in these activists and the general public outraged by what happened amazes me.

Ask these same people if they think it would be a good idea to harass, threaten, and obstruct a police officer making an arrest for a DUI or shoplifting and they would most definitely say "of course not".

So why in the hell do these people think it's okay to do this to ICE agents arresting illegal aliens? These people are brainwashed. Our media is complicit in the brainwashing. And many of our politicians cynically use these folks as useful idiots in their games of power.

John Schrauth's avatar

It's not complicated. These people are Communists and their Useful Idiots.

JohnAZ's avatar

But the question remains, where did they come from? What has happened to the USA that has grown such insanity? What do these people, not just the leaders really want?

The answers to this have been discussed over and over on this blog. IMHO, three causes:

Lousy parenting

Lousy education

Invasion.

Lugh's avatar

The KGB defector, Yuri Bezmenov (sp?) laid it all out. America was done, cooked, by the 80's. Demoralized with the kids educated by the deadly enemies of mankind: the Corporations and the International Bankers. These are backers of Communism if you did but know!

JohnAZ's avatar

You forgot the government with the Department of Education. Look at NYC, certainly Communist but hardly run by corporations. The corporations are currently trying to figure out how to handle Mamdani.

Lugh's avatar

Oh? Who gave him the money to run? Campaigns are very expensive. The great foundations give the money. But where do they get it from? See my post above.

JohnAZ's avatar

??? Look and see who benefitted by his victory.

First on the list, IMHO, is the global socialists, with number one soldier, someone named Soros, same as the AG and judges in NYC. Until someone figures out how to stop this jerk, we will continue to decline.

Chastity belt and all….with nails in them😡! “ You’ll get laid when I say…..keep your greedy hands off my tattoo’d pudenda” “I’ll tell you when & how long”…..Do my tats make me look fat??? Or undesirable?? Next step is daring to defy legal orders from authority…..make themselves even less desirable and disgusting! I am disgusted with my own acquaintances that put me into their bunch by no fault of my own!

They should GET what they’re asking for…..a good ass kicking & an ass kicking!

The separation, hormone wise between men and women is not clear cut. It is actually a gradual spectrum with effeminate men and masculine women. Another complication is the personality defects of narcissism and power infects women as much as men. That is a new wrinkle to The Battle since feminism showed up.

The basic roles of men and women have been blurred so badly it is affecting the operations of sane society.

JohnAZ's avatar

Whatever they are.

Number 1 and Number 3 for sure. Number 2 is more about indoctrination having replaced good education. The low IQ clowns posing as teachers waste time with moronic "social/emotional " cultural Marxist garbage instead of the three R's. I am continuously blown away at the idea our local schools supposedly spend $20-30K plus per student and few, as in like 10% can read at grade level. In Illinois they have once again lowered the standards while performance has dropped to negate their book keeping stunt. Most are innumerate as well.

In our local church schools, for a fraction of the public school cost, the children are usually reading and writing in kindergarten.

Most of these fantasy street fighters are veterans of many a demo. I suspect they are used to Minneapolis cops under orders to go lightly. They rely on the police's restraint.

But federal law enforcement officers are a different species. They don't take orders from Hizzhonor the Mayor. The ICE crew are used to dealing with seriously bad people: rapists, drug dealers, drunk truck drivers, murderers even. You block ICE personnel's way, they don't get the joke. Driving in their vicinity after you've been told to get out of the car triggers new rules.

Although I would very likely have detested Ms. Good if I met her, I am sorry her biography ended the way it did. She didn't earn three rounds to the head. But she was a classic example of that wheeze about bringing a knife to a gun fight.

FLGenX's avatar

And they aren’t just illegal aliens. There are some horrific criminals here. Why would these agitators protest this??

“ICE released a list this week detailing some of the most dangerous non-citizen criminals arrested during a major enforcement surge in Minnesota. The list includes individuals convicted of child rape, sexual assault of minors, sodomy, and multiple homicides, many of whom had final deportation orders dating back decades.”

One thing I've noticed sifting through the cringe content pushed out on Netflix and Apple TV: There often seems to be a take-charge lesbian around to handle the stunts previously performed by a Schwarzenegger, Stallone, or Willis hero from the 80s or 90s. The don't have much muscle, but lots of mouth. And they're often shown kicking the crap out of fellows we know could snap them like twigs. Perhaps this is where these wretched wiccans get their delusions of invincibility.

I watched an episode of that nasty "Star Trek Discovery" show and it had an older tiny Asian woman as the starship captain. I ran with the premise until she was beating the hell out of 300 pound Klingon warriors. She barely weighing 100 pounds. I couldn't watch another second of that awful show.

I watched a John Wick movie where Hollywood got it right and matched a smaller woman up against John Wick. He beat the shit out of her. She tried to put up a fight but she had no strength against him.

I can't stand modern Hollwood movies.

This "power girl" nonsense ties in with general leftist premise of reality being based on feelings and desires rather than... reality.

Cankerpuss's avatar

There is a commercial on the TV that shows a Georgia Bulldog fan doing the Georgia bark when his nasty hag of a boss (a woman) sits her Georgia Bulldog mug down on the table. She is the stereotypical girl boss. Arrogant, ugly, smug and looks at her male employee who is just trying to have a little college banter like he is a daft idiot. I hate that commercial.

A great cleansing is required to rid the body politic of this "bloodless coup" that's been going on for quite some time. Time to get back to baseline. What is baseline? Two sexes only, obey the law, respect your neighbor, seek decorum, etc... and here the corporations could be infinitely more responsible by leading with Goodwill, instead of trying to punish, profit and extract from those less fortunate, i.e. unilaterally lower interest card rates instead of waiting for the government to provide direction, stop with your disingenuous virtue signaling, etc. We're you morally bereft corporate leaders waiting for Trump to show you the way??

"American men are less and less good husband material — except at society’s tippy-top where they make obscene amounts of money in activities that are, frankly, pretty antisocial when you look hard — like, running monopolies, inducing the entire population into ill health, and selling out their country. "

A kid I went to high school with, who is, frankly, a moron, made millions of dollars buying the life insurance policies, for pennies on the dollar, from poor, sickly, down-on-their-luck people who are near death. He drives around in Ferraris and Lamborghinis and posts endlessly about living his "best life." He learned the scheme from a couple of Turkish immigrants who are now in prison. This is what "success" looks like in America today. Late stage capitalism.

Occam's avatar

Apt comment.

America's business climate is essentially groups of powerful companies making money from people with less money. And it's getting worse and worse with derivatives, capitalizations, funds buying scads of single-family homes. Grossly anti-human activities.

Once you see the matrix for what it is - people marketing to you to take your money - it's impossible to unsee.

That is unchecked capitalism, rd3. You take advantage of your neighbor.

I have a few insurance agents in my neighborhood and in my local church. They make a ton of money and they do very little work for that money. Once someone buys the insurance policy, a chunk of that monthly premium is pure profit for the agent. What does the agent do to earn that money. Not a goddamned thing. And when the time comes that the client needs the insurance they do all they can to weasle out of paying. I hate insurances and insurance brokers. They rank up there with lawyers, producers of nothing and takers of everything.

That's what American capitalism is. A scam. Taking advantage of one to pay another.

Ain't it great?

I've been in a two-year long battle with State Farm over my roof. I've had State Farm for almost 20 years with no claims. Then, when I did have a claim, they fought me. I had to hire an independent adjustor and pay him 35%. So, in the end, I had to come out of pocket for $10k, when if State Farm would have just paid me to begin with, they would have been out the same money, but I would have been made whole. Instead, they shafted me and I had to drain my reserves paying for it.

Mortgage Insurance.

The Bank has to perform due diligence...on the loan. Is that right? I dunno.

And in case they fuck up - YOU have to pay for Insurance coverage to cover THEIR ass!

Talk about a scam!

EDIT: Hey, my fellow posters...why does my typed post always get double spaced?

Ben's avatar

Try a different browser.

wkenn's avatar

Insurance companies are in the financial investment business. They take your (our) money and invest it. When it comes to paying claims, they try for the least $$ outlay to settle. They make a settlement offer (always a low-ball) hoping people will just accept it, however grudgingly. The idea is to keep as much $$ as possible on their side of the ledger.

Fighting them (negotiating?) takes a lot of time and energy. The game is rigged in their favor, as you (we) are trying to maximize the settlement amount in the midst of the loss, while they are trying to keep their cost of doing business low.

They sit in their offices collecting a salary (label as player A). The insured is suffering a loss, expending time, energy and $$ attempting to be made whole (label as player B).. So... would you prefer to be player A or player B?

Cankerpuss's avatar

Yep, they aren't about insuring, they are about making money and lots of it. Just watch a little teevee. Most of the ads you will see are insurance companies. They blow tens of millions of dollars on advertising each year. Many football stadiums are named after insurance companies. Insurance companies sponsor college bowl games every year to the tune of millions and millions of dollars, such as the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

If they have the kind of money to pay millions to name bowl games and stadiums after their business they should be lowering insurance rates or be faster at settling claims. Insurance companies are as big a fraud as you are ever going to find and we are the suckers. They prey upon our fear of "what could happen" and use that fear to pad their own pockets.

Unchecked Capitalism at its best. Take advantage of your fellow man so you can get rich.

Lugh's avatar

Thus the need for Government to step in stop such abuses. Thus National Socialism or Fascism. It's as simple as a+b=b+a.

wkenn's avatar

I'm a small government person.

Problems (issues) arise over time when individuals become too comfortable in their 'space', whatever it might be for the individual.

Then greed and power raise their ugly heads. Government becomes a tool for satisfying greed and increasing power.

It is the up/down axis (up = freedom, down = oppression)

Jefferson wanted a reset every twenty years. Keep freedom, suppress oppression.

Most individuals want to be left alone to "pursue happiness". While they are busy living life and wanting to be free, they (we) lose sight of 'freedom isn't free' because it requires work and constant vigilance to suppress the oppressors.

Thus, government isn't the best answer because both sides begin using it to further their 'agenda', whatever the 'agenda' might be. At this point the revolution is needed, about every 20 years, which leads to the conclusion every generation needs to fight government 'creep and control' in order to truly remain free.

Lugh's avatar

Pursue happiness? You mean make money by screwing people over? That's what happiness is to Capitalist man. I love Jeff but he sounds like Mao with this quote.

If that's the best we can do, far better to go back to the stability of Monarchy. Clawing your way to the top produces exactly the wrong mentality and skill set needed to rule well.
