In my community the nearest ground water one can access via a well is nearly 1200 feet below the surface. The cost to drill a test well is in the multiple thousands. The cost to build a permanent well, pump system, treatment system, etc is in hundreds of thousands. This is assuming you can acquire the water rights to drill such a well and draw the water. 1 acre foot of water right I have seen going on the open market at $80,000.00. If you need 3 or 4 acre feet you are into it $320,000 before you can even start drilling.

There is no more fundamental appurtenance of sovereignty than a nation’s right to control its borders and decide who is permitted to live within them. That right is codified in a body of law which must either be respected or overturned, if we are to be a nation of laws.
As citizens, each of us should be prepared to declare our choices and stand by them. I stand by Rule of Law and National Sovereignty. Does that make me uncharitable and anti-kindness? I don’t think so. My hope would be that once Rule of Law has been upheld and National Soverignty reestablished that we can again devote ourselves to Kindness and Charity. Conversely, I believe that without defending my Givens, all four values will be irrevocably lost.
Before you attack me for my choice of Givens, I ask that you consider your own position. Is it based in principle, or is it a product of your emotions which, in turn, have been manipulated and misinformed by The Narrative?
If you don’t consider yourself to be manipulable and at the mercy of your emotions, then you can’t just pretend that your choice is without consequence. In my community the nearest ground water one can access via a well is nearly 1200 feet below the surface. The cost to drill a test well is in the multiple thousands. The cost to build a permanent well, pump system, treatment system, etc is in hundreds of thousands. This is assuming you can acquire the water rights to drill such a well and draw the water. 1 acre foot of water right I have seen going on the open market at $80,000.00. If you need 3 or 4 acre feet you are into it $320,000 before you can even start drilling.

Pay close attention to Florida - where 480,000 Haitians are about to lose their protected status. Fun Fact: about 14 months ago I stayed at a hotel in Orlando where I met roughly 30 Haitian ex-military - all under 35. They were all incredibly fit, had expensive watches, satellite phones - and were all on their laptops tracking things on their laptops. Strangely, other than going to the hotel gym and pool - they never left the lobby.
I was friendly with a few of them - and after a few days of looking up at sports together on the TV, I asked about the group. They said they were special guests of the U.S. government - which raised MORE than a few alarm bells. I called up DeSantis office that day, and reported what I saw - as well as a few friends who are federal marshalls ( and former DHS workers) - who told me that they believed they were Haitian mercenaries.

At least that's the types of medication lists I see on patient intakes. TO WHOEVER LIKES THIS POST: Whether we fallible human beings like it or not, how we respond to situations like this always comes down to The Givens, and what is or should be Given is always subject to debate.
Life is never simple, and a great many interests compete to be The Givens. For the sake of clarity, let’s consider just four: Kindness, Charity, Rule of Law, and National Sovereignty. In a better world I would choose all four, but that’s not an option with regard to ten million illegal aliens. They were not brought into this country for the sake of Kindness and Charity, but rather for the express purpose of undermining Rule of Law and National Sovereignty, and those people can’t be permitted to stay here without forsaking both principles.
There is no more fundamental appurtenance of sovereignty than a nation’s right to control its borders and decide who is permitted to live within them. That right is codified in a body of law which must either be respected or overturned, if we are to be a nation of laws.
As citizens, each of us should be prepared to declare our choices and stand by them. I stand by Rule of Law and National Sovereignty. Does that make me uncharitable and anti-kindness? I don’t think so. My hope would be that once Rule of Law has been upheld and National Soverignty reestablished that we can again devote ourselves to Kindness and Charity. Conversely, I believe that without defending my Givens, all four values will be irrevocably lost.
Before you attack me for my choice of Givens, I ask that you consider your own position. Is it based in principle, or is it a product of your emotions which, in turn, have been manipulated and misinformed by The Narrative?
If you don’t consider yourself to be manipulable and at the mercy of your emotions, then you can’t just pretend that your choice is without consequence. You must consider the implications of that choice and own it. In this case, are you willing to declare that you regard Rule of Law and National Sovereignty to be expendable – luxuries that can be set aside when a situation which requires defending them makes us feel bad?
