I don't understand the cheerleading for this unnecessary war. We've seen this show before, many times. The US is always meddling and it never ends well. Countless lives and untold billions tossed into the rathole of the Afghanistan war, all just to replace the Taliban with the Taliban. Apparently we've learned nothing. Scratch that, we've learned that billions we could be spending here at home gets funneled into the pockets of the war profiteers.
