‘You have to wonder if CNN takes direction from the CIA…’ I think it’s called “Project Mockingbird.”

Different outlets are the “leakers” for different government agencies. Over at the conservative treehouse website it is well documented which agency works with which particular news outlet. If you search their archives,

you will find it there.

Did all of Fauci's previous perjuries before Congress occur prior to the pardon??

In any case, I simply look at it like, "What would happen to me if I did what he did?" I expect the inside of a jail cell would be some part of the answer.

His pardon was novel in three ways. It covered crimes he had not been charged with. It was a blanket pardon for all crimes dating back to 2014 and it was signed by an autopen in DC while Biden was in another state. Hunter also got a pardon back to 2014. What exactly happened in 2014 that has all of these scoundrels worried?

Rick's avatar

Metabiota is a Hunter Biden Rosemont Seneca funded venture in Ukraine that funded gain of function research there. On the Russian border! It all started there in 2014.

Damn the torpedoes's avatar

The bio labs in Ukraine were a large part of Russia’s reason to invade.

Visceral's avatar

So is this the bio labs in Ukraine that seems to be a third rail?

Dr. David Martin is proposing that Fauci can be charged with domestic terrorism under the Patriot Act:

I like Dr. Davis Martin's explanation in Plandemic.

Two elements of the COVID story emerged during the hearing last week that were new to me.

1) Gain of function research uses aborted baby organs (livers, lungs, skin, etc.) to graft onto mice on which weaponized viruses can be tested on living human tissue. This practice was banned in the U.S. in 2014, thus the research was moved overseas to foreign countries where there is no ban (China, Ukraine, etc.). This is why Fauci's pardon goes back to 2014 and why all involved didn't want the public to know what they were doing and therefore, the phony bat soup story.

2) Much of the funding for GOF research is financed by USAID, which, with the assistance of the CIA, launders the money through a labyrinth of NGOs to obscure its origin and intended destination (like the Biden family LLCs).

JohnAZ's avatar

On one, not surprised. The people who favor abortion cannot figure the humanity of fetuses. They are chunks of meat to them.

JohnAZ's avatar

Where is the empathy for the millions of aborted human beings that is showing up for Covid victims?

This is the issue that broke our institutional consensus more than any other. To address this deficit they (media, researchers, policymakers) would have to account for their own distortions and acts of cowardice and conformity.

If they were strong enough to do this we wouldn’t be in this place. This is a moral failure (cowardice), and that should be emphasized ceaselessly. We are ruled by cowards.

I don't think so. I think they hate the country so much, and they hate Trump so much, and they hate anyone who disagrees with them so much, that they're ready to do any sort of maliciousness or violence to get their way. They're like little kids having a meltdown in the grocery store because mommy didn't buy them a candy bar.

What makes you think that Fauci hates our country? He just spent a lifetime serving the country.

Your comment about hating people who disagree with him sounds more like Trump than Fauci.

I have a favorite vision of his being held in 14th century (guessing there) stocks on the Mall before we hang 'em - in public. After he crawled across glass. After being publicly flogged. I know: Barbaric. So was killing 21 million worldwide (latest # I heard - anybody got better numbers?) -- for what? 2 billion permanently disabled. What's to debate? There isn't a punishment that fits this level of insanity.

The quandry in which Fauci has found himself is that the "pardon" only applies to federal crimes committed prior to the date contained in the pardon language. By accepting the pardon, Fauci ipso facto admitted that he committed federal crimes, but asserts he has been immunized against prosecution for them. Technically, the "pardon" removes his Fifth Amendment privilege because he is no longer in jeopardy (in the legal sense) for prosecution. That is Black Letter Law. Thus, his profession of immunity under the Fifth Amendment is without a legal basis and he could be subject to a contempt sanction, including incarceration, if the Congress so declares. But the "pardon" does not apply to non-federal crimes (nor to civil liability) outside its sphere of immunity, so that state prosecusions would technically remain possible (although most statutes of limitations probably apply to create a separate defense). So far, despite statements from various state legal authorities have been made indicating that investigations into his potential liability have been or will be undertaken, nothing concrete has occurred. Nonetheless, he could assert with some technical accuracy that he is still in legal jeopardy and that claim would require litigation which would likely consume years to unfold. I do not think any prosecutorial authorities will want to undertake that course of action, largely for political reasons. I believe that Fauci will die before any prosecutions are mounted. Likewise, I believe that he will not be declared in contempt, and probably will not even be the subject of contempt proceedings in congress because of political considerations as well as his age. I therefoe conclude that Fauci's only likely jeopardy is from His Maker, whose perfect justice will be inescapable.

The Dana Bash tirade and breakdown while supposedly "interviewing" RFK jr. this weekend demonstrates Taibbi's statement perfectly. She raged at Bobby for refusing to endorse all of the Press' preconceived and immutable "facts." I don't recall whether or not it was "CNN State of the Union, brought to you by Pfizer."

David "JC" Penny's avatar

Excellent again. However, looking at the way you framed this, you more or less answer your own, closing question with a previous, false positive:

"One question that the public badly wants Secretary RFK,jr. to answer: how come you haven’t pulled the mRNA Covid vaccines altogether? Everybody knows. "

"Even the super-hyped-up cat ladies, nose-rings...."

Just because you wish it doesn't make it true. Those cat ladies believe it is "safe and effective" now more than ever. The reason the Vax hasn't been pulled is because the majority still want it to be true.... It would like telling people that seed oil is bad for them... oh. wait...

And, perhaps big Pharma has an extinction event facing them if they lose their state-sponsored amnesty.

The foolishly deluded also believe that Fauci can do and did no wrong. He should be honored for his "science". It's enough to make me sick; my friend and neighbor praising Fauci.

Jeff the Original's avatar

If you actually followed the MSM...you would see a whole bunch of people who start their reporting typically with a statement like "Nobody was perfect in their response to Covid including Dr. Fauci..."

I swear that you guys just come here...make shix up about others (or repeat what others have made up)...then you all think it must be true because there's strength in numbers.

Our response to Covid wasn't perfect. Get over it.

Jeff the Original's avatar

Why would a big pharma promote a product that kills or maims their customers?

Are you envisioning their board of directors who batted around ideas like..."Hey...let's start a pandemic that kills and maims people so we can 'invent' a vaccine that does the same thing!"?

Your conspiracy theories really don't meet the simplest of chuckle test.

"One question that the public badly wants Secretary RFK,jr. to answer: how come you haven’t pulled the mRNA Covid vaccines altogether?" - This needs to happen (along with Fauci being voted in contempt of Congress). - Maybe then some who continue to play the 'vaxx saved lives' charade will admit to being duped, and those in the medical profession/media whose 'advice' harmed others can attempt to atone for their sins.
