It attracted large amounts of peoples from Central and Eastern Europe as colonists who brought modernized agrarian methods & tech into the area and developed it into one of the best agricultural parts of the planet (along with the Central Valley of California, and the Red River Valley of the North between No.Dak and Minnesota). The special black earth in Ukraine goes down eight feet (!!!). So you can imagine how fertile it is.
So to answer your question. Yes. Ukraine is a big mix of Russians, Poles, Hungarians, Romanians, Germans, Jews, Greeks, Ruthenians, Muslim tribes, etc.
EU may try to preserve itself with distractions, but France and the UK in particular are increasingly sliding towards civil strife and conflict internally. I think having a puppet like Zelensky as a the figurehead has been a great cover for the nationalist forces. Florida taxpayers are being forced to buy unrated Israeli junk bonds thanks to a law passed by the state legislature and signed by Ron DeSantis. Israel has collapsed its economy over the past couple of years, and its credit rating has been downgraded as a result. US state and local governments are funding Israel’s Gaza campaign by buying their unrated junk bonds. This is an intolerable misuse of taxpayer money. The sponsors of this, everyone who voted for it, and Governor DeSantis should be ashamed. NATO/EU is interested in a continental system of control, while Russia will never accept a Western military alliance on the entire length of its borders again. In this game of thrones-like situation, US actors like Victoria Nuland or the Ukrainian nationalist Colonel Vindman, manipulate the Kiev government with promises of "whatever it takes" cash & arms. EU may try to preserve itself with distractions, but France and the UK in particular are increasingly sliding towards civil strife and conflict internally. If you look at the bigger picture, and the history of Ukraine, then you'd agree from the perspective of the Ukrainians that the last 3 years is extremely paramount to the survival of an independent Ukraine. I think you are correct about the future of the governance of the country. The Azovians, Right Sector, Svoboda, the Congress of Ukrainian nationalists, etc. will assume control post-Zelensky. I think having a puppet like Zelensky as a the figurehead has been a great cover for the nationalist forces. The fact that Zelensky himself is a Jew (ethnically anyway), provides a counter argument to the Russians about Nazism inside Ukraine, at least in the collective West. The wisest thing these nationalists could do now is to take a deal with Putin, and then do some serious house cleaning in Ukraine. Their biggest enemy will be the globalists who will demand to flood the country with millions of Arabs & African peoples after the war.

That's because last night China announced a gold-backed yuan.
Fiat money, it turns out, came from a certain group of goldsmiths being allowed back into Britain. Since they worked in gold, they had gold vaults; paper money came from the paper receipt a person got when he rented storage in those vaults.
Well, those canny goldsmiths started loaning out not the gold (which belonged to other people), but paper receipts, "loaning" out 10x as many receipts as each pound of gold they held. Counterfeit, in other words.
The payments coming in should cover any gold an owner took back out. Since there weren't that many strong vaults, gold didn't get moved much, and fiat currency was born.
