I think people in this country have grown accustomed to being a victim and they not only are accustomed to it but they look for it, desire it, and search out opportunities to be a victim. Why? Well, I have a theory. Wanna hear it?

I have a friend who is a teacher. Teaching is no longer his job, it is his life. He eats, drinks, breathes, craps and sleeps everything about teaching. Not just teaching his students in the classroom, but he is now on the NEA council, goes to conferences everywhere, lobbies legislators for more money and higher teacher pay (and more time off I am sure) and it is his mission to procure tax dollars to continue funding "educators" and the broken system they employ. It's all he cares about from sunrise to sunset. He no longer works as a "teacher" he has become an "educator" and that is his "cause" and is now his sole identity.
If we had to spend more time worrying about our next meal or keeping a roof over our heads we'd be less inclined to worry about our genitals, genders, tattoos, covid, and every other stupid cause people engage in.

Generalizing on teachers - there are many great ones out there who have sacrificed greatly and influenced our lives for the better - we can all remember one or two.
I like what Real Mary Rose said above. Some teachers become activists. At that point they consider themselves more than just a teacher, but an advocate for the long term welfare and mental well being of America's youth. It's the activists that I despise.

Back in the 1950’s and 60’s when I was growing up my parents had set nights to go bowling or play cards with friends. Lots of talking went on then! (We used to listen in on the steps). Church activities pulled people together socially and lots of interactions happened there as well.
The iPhone has changed all that. You can now sit alone on a park bench and continue bingeing the latest “White Lotus”! Back in the day one or two programs might be watched in an evening on the TV plus the news.

Back in my church attending days I had an autistic boy in my Sunday School youth class. I was the teacher. It was horrific. The kid would jump up and grab my bag, throw the contents everywhere. If I was able to defend my bag the kid would torment the other children. He'd get up and start licking the windows or the chalk board. When he would sit on the chair he'd constantly shout "HEY!" at me until I answered and then just blankly stare me. I finally quit not being able to take it anymore.
We should be celebrating this? My big ass. What that boy needed was a good solid whooping behind the woodshed, in my opinion.

I have seen some autistic children who clearly have something wrong with them in their heads. I have seen others who really are just naughty children that need a good whooping.
As I understand it, there are varying levels of autism. From genius-savant to constant self-harm.
On one level, I can see how dealing with these children can be a lesson for the parents that may, in the end, be somehow positive. However, I don't think that "celebrating" is a word that should be used.

My daughter underwent extensive academic and psychological testing. She struggled and well underperformed on about 80% of the testing but has a few off the charts capabilities involving geometric/spatial mathematics and had the highest score the clinician ever recorded on a repetitive hand-eye reaction speed test. I have also noticed her uncanny ability to deeply engage with others socially by mirroring their specific mannerisms and speech patterns to an exactness that I have never seen in others. (you don't realize that she is doing it with you until you see her completely mirror code-switch when interacting with others).
Overall my wife seems obsessed with trying to fix and/or cure my daughter but I honestly just accept her as she is and try to direct her towards her strengths and interests.

Ha ha, I am the same way. I have a great camera on my phone. I play a Sim City game on my phone that I enjoy from time to time and I will use it to text family or friends. The further we get away from the Covid scam and the more I am able to reflect upon it, the clearer it becomes to me that the entire thing was exploited as a means of getting rid of the president. My mother in law got every covid shot and booster. She got thyroid cancer and now has full blown lymphoma.
My brother in law had non-hodgkins lymphoma before covid and has received every covid shot and booster since. He gets cancer screened every year and is still cancer free and running marathons.
My point? Who knows how it will affect any individual. The fact that they were trying to force us to take it was what made me run away as fast as I could. Nobody forces me to anything I don't want to do (except pay taxes, still trying to figure out how to resist that one without going to jail or losing the home I have bought and paid for and supposedly own in free America).

Carrying it a step further, if we can agree it was really some sort of 'bad case of the flu' we can find people who died from covid, whatever it actually was.
Whatever it was, it has never been repeatedly identified in human tissue, which would be a basic exercise of scientific method (not the smoke and mirrors science). If it were, tissue samples could be brought to any reasonable laboratory for the 'virus' to be isolated within the tissue (as opposed to isolated in a computer model).
That's my point. If it were real, easy enough to prove. But no.
Get this: A friend of mine just drove all the way to Salt Lake City Utah, 7 hours away, for a hip replacement surgery. And when he got there, they told him he was "covid positive" and refused to do the surgery! So he lost all that money for travel, etc. and has to reschedule.
God only knows what he has, if anything.
Covid is a coronavirus, which causes a cold. In the early days of the covid hoax, many epidemiologists spoke out about how long it takes a pathogen to move through a community. It was 70 days.
So why, 5 years later, are people still "getting" covid? Or are they? I have my doubts. The testing and the diagnosing have always been suspect at best.
And were people's perception of being the most sick they've ever been just because they were told they had been handed what CNN screeched was practically a death sentence? And don't we always feel as if the current bout of flu we have is the "worst ever"? And wouldn't your flu be worse at 60 than at say, 40? Due to age?

I never caught the flu in a customs area in Puerto Vallarta, or in an airplane coach section going to Athens. This Covid is much more infectious than flu and spreads easily with airborne contamination, unlike the droplet flu. I have had flu once in my life, and it was muscular in nature. Covid, twice, same symptoms, nothing like the flu.
At one point, I kind of felt the same way as you do. but then I spent a week in the hospital during the summer of 2021, as ill as I have ever been in my life. I literally could not breathe at times. It was a scary feeling.
And I know three people personally who died from it.
It was a real disease and a real pandemic.
But the (over)reaction was cynical and contrived and unnecessary.

All these ideas of what may have caused the illness all over the world. People got sick in areas without airplanes flying over their heads, without bio-research going on, without all the other suggested causes. The simplest answer is that it was an escaped viral agent that was and is extremely communicable but not nearly deadly enough for the developers wants and needs.
I choose to believe it is illicit viral development led by Fauci and others, to develop more weapons of mass destruction. The Vaxx was developed in concert with the virus, that is why it just suddenly popped up, ready for Warpspeed testing. Why? To protect the peoples that are developing the virus. The adverse effects are caused by things that surprised the developers, things caused by introduction of the S protein into the circulatory system allowing exposure of all parts of the body to the DNA modifying aspects of the mRNA carrier. We do not even know what the effect of ongoing inflammation caused by continued stimulus of the immune system by the S protein.
Bottom line, our government, complicit with the AMA, allowed the introduction of a substance into the bodies of millions of people that was essentially an experiment of an untested mRNA technology. That technology had already had many problems with much of the "leakage" issues that have shown up since the Vaxx. With the government and the AMA solidly defending their positions, there is no way to prosecute the guilty parties. Heck, research has not even been done to find out what the real effects of both Covid and its Vaxx have been. We still, for example, have no idea of why 99% of the population have a non-event to heavy cold or flu reaction to the virus and the 1% die a suffocating death in reaction. We do not understand why the Vaxx makes adverse effects. Thanks to government interference, we have missed an opportunity to figure out how to combat viruses. Maybe that is by design of the folks that wanted Covid to kill us all in the first place.
Only the death rate - and always for people who already had one foot in the grave - was .027%. Not a pandemic. And the CDC wiped out the actual flu deaths that year. So the same # of people died from whatever coronavirus etc they do every year. And meanwhile, yes, they poison the skies everywhere. It's not just in metropolitan areas. Where did you get the idea they don't in some places? I'd have to see proof of that.

I think you're absolutely right, and sooner or later Trump is going to have to realize that if he is going to accomplish what he wants to do, he is going to have to assume the right of way and start disregarding at least some of the judges' commands. A good place to start is simply to refuse to comply with any nationwide injunction other than as regards the plaintiff and defendant. I think this is true even if the Supreme Court declines to address the issue of Nationwide injunctions in the upcoming birthright citizenship case.

Two Mexican nationals transporting 180,000 rounds of ammunition were arrested in Colorado last month after being pulled over by police in a traffic stop.
According to a federal arrest affidavit, the two men were pulled over for failing to dim the headlights on their vehicle as well as failing to use their signal to turn into a gas station.
41-year-old Caesar Ramon Martinez Solis and 24-year-old Humberto Ivan Amador Gavira were the two individuals arrested in Canon City on March 26th after officers discovered the two individuals were carrying around 150 boxes of .308 ammunition, as well as 30 boxes of 7.62 ammunition.
Each box of ammunition contained 1,000 rounds, totalling 180,000.
Both individuals were in the United States on nonimmigrant visas, which did not allow them to possess any weapons or ammunition for any reason, according to the affidavit.
Fremont County Sheriff’s Office contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents following the discovery, who interviewed the two individuals.
During the interview, Martinez Solis claimed that Amador Gavira is his brother-in-law and entered the United States a day prior to their arrest.
Martinez Solis went on to state that they traveled to Denver, purchased a van and drove to Salt Lake City where they purchased the ammunition and transported it across state lines to Colorado where they were ultimately detained.
“[Martinez Solis] further explained that he did not know the intent with the ammunition but that he believed it was destined for Pueblo, [Colorado],” according to the affidavit.
Both individuals were charged by federal prosecutors with Unlawful Possession of Ammunition by Alien Admitted Under a Nonimmigrant Visa on Wednesday.
In a press release, federal prosecutors described the case as “a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.”

Was watching Wrestlemania last night and one match pitted a heel against a babyface. I think people in this country have grown accustomed to being a victim and they not only are accustomed to it but they look for it, desire it, and search out opportunities to be a victim. Why? Well, I have a theory. Wanna hear it?

Gone are the days where our hard labors were required to feed ourselves and give us shelter. So, when something like covid comes along all of these bored individuals whose lives really mean nothing of any importance to anyone (including themselves), they glom onto these issues, become a victim and suddenly that becomes their "cause" and their sole reason for existing. Their life's mission.
I have a friend who is a teacher. Teaching is no longer his job, it is his life. He eats, drinks, breathes, craps and sleeps everything about teaching. Not just teaching his students in the classroom, but he is now on the NEA council, goes to conferences everywhere, lobbies legislators for more money and higher teacher pay (and more time off I am sure) and it is his mission to procure tax dollars to continue funding "educators" and the broken system they employ. It's all he cares about from sunrise to sunset. He no longer works as a "teacher" he has become an "educator" and that is his "cause" and is now his sole identity.
If we had to spend more time worrying about our next meal or keeping a roof over our heads we'd be less inclined to worry about our genitals, genders, tattoos, covid, and every other stupid cause people engage in.

Generalizing on teachers - there are many great ones out there who have sacrificed greatly and influenced our lives for the better - we can all remember one or two.
I like what Real Mary Rose said above. Some teachers become activists. At that point they consider themselves more than just a teacher, but an advocate for the long term welfare and mental well being of America's youth. It's the activists that I despise.

I am trying to replace some of this with sports (playing, not watching). Because that gets me out in life. I don't really use any major social media platforms anymore. They are toxic.

Back in the 1950’s and 60’s when I was growing up my parents had set nights to go bowling or play cards with friends. Lots of talking went on then! (We used to listen in on the steps). Church activities pulled people together socially and lots of interactions happened there as well.
The iPhone has changed all that. You can now sit alone on a park bench and continue bingeing the latest “White Lotus”! Back in the day one or two programs might be watched in an evening on the TV plus the news.
It seems to me that TPTB want us to be isolated and easily propagandized (lied to). So far they are winning.

Back in my church attending days I had an autistic boy in my Sunday School youth class. I was the teacher. It was horrific. The kid would jump up and grab my bag, throw the contents everywhere. If I was able to defend my bag the kid would torment the other children. He'd get up and start licking the windows or the chalk board. When he would sit on the chair he'd constantly shout "HEY!" at me until I answered and then just blankly stare me. I finally quit not being able to take it anymore.
We should be celebrating this? My big ass. What that boy needed was a good solid whooping behind the woodshed, in my opinion.

My daughter underwent extensive academic and psychological testing. She struggled and well underperformed on about 80% of the testing but has a few off the charts capabilities involving geometric/spatial mathematics and had the highest score the clinician ever recorded on a repetitive hand-eye reaction speed test. I have also noticed her uncanny ability to deeply engage with others socially by mirroring their specific mannerisms and speech patterns to an exactness that I have never seen in others. (you don't realize that she is doing it with you until you see her completely mirror code-switch when interacting with others).
Overall my wife seems obsessed with trying to fix and/or cure my daughter but I honestly just accept her as she is and try to direct her towards her strengths and interests.

Whatever it was, it has never been repeatedly identified in human tissue, which would be a basic exercise of scientific method (not the smoke and mirrors science). If it were, tissue samples could be brought to any reasonable laboratory for the 'virus' to be isolated within the tissue (as opposed to isolated in a computer model).

Get this: A friend of mine just drove all the way to Salt Lake City Utah, 7 hours away, for a hip replacement surgery. And when he got there, they told him he was "covid positive" and refused to do the surgery! So he lost all that money for travel, etc. and has to reschedule.
God only knows what he has, if anything.
Covid is a coronavirus, which causes a cold. In the early days of the covid hoax, many epidemiologists spoke out about how long it takes a pathogen to move through a community. It was 70 days.
So why, 5 years later, are people still "getting" covid? Or are they? I have my doubts. The testing and the diagnosing have always been suspect at best.
And were people's perception of being the most sick they've ever been just because they were told they had been handed what CNN screeched was practically a death sentence? And don't we always feel as if the current bout of flu we have is the "worst ever"? And wouldn't your flu be worse at 60 than at say, 40? Due to age?
All valid, keep in mind I never bought into it. The ostracization and subsequent loss of income was difficult. If there were do-overs in life I would still do the same.
Covid positive is the result of too many cycles of PCR which was 'never intended to diagnose anything' (Kary Mullis). The people who refuse to be confused by facts are a weight around the neck of society.

I never caught the flu in a customs area in Puerto Vallarta, or in an airplane coach section going to Athens. This Covid is much more infectious than flu and spreads easily with airborne contamination, unlike the droplet flu. I have had flu once in my life, and it was muscular in nature. Covid, twice, same symptoms, nothing like the flu.
OK. Having never experienced covid, I cannot say anymore. Well, maybe I had the vid but I refused to do the stupid test so I would never know anyway.
At one point, I kind of felt the same way as you do. but then I spent a week in the hospital during the summer of 2021, as ill as I have ever been in my life. I literally could not breathe at times. It was a scary feeling.
And I know three people personally who died from it.
It was a real disease and a real pandemic.

People got sick in areas without airplanes flying over their heads, without bio-research going on, without all the other suggested causes. The simplest answer is that it was an escaped viral agent that was and is extremely communicable but not nearly deadly enough for the developers wants and needs.
I choose to believe it is illicit viral development led by Fauci and others, to develop more weapons of mass destruction. The Vaxx was developed in concert with the virus, that is why it just suddenly popped up, ready for Warpspeed testing. Why? To protect the peoples that are developing the virus. The adverse effects are caused by things that surprised the developers, things caused by introduction of the S protein into the circulatory system allowing exposure of all parts of the body to the DNA modifying aspects of the mRNA carrier. We do not even know what the effect of ongoing inflammation caused by continued stimulus of the immune system by the S protein.
Bottom line, our government, complicit with the AMA, allowed the introduction of a substance into the bodies of millions of people that was essentially an experiment of an untested mRNA technology. That technology had already had many problems with much of the "leakage" issues that have shown up since the Vaxx. With the government and the AMA solidly defending their positions, there is no way to prosecute the guilty parties. Heck, research has not even been done to find out what the real effects of both Covid and its Vaxx have been. We still, for example, have no idea of why 99% of the population have a non-event to heavy cold or flu reaction to the virus and the 1% die a suffocating death in reaction. We do not understand why the Vaxx makes adverse effects. Thanks to government interference, we have missed an opportunity to figure out how to combat viruses. Maybe that is by design of the folks that wanted Covid to kill us all in the first place.

So far, all talk with no action evident. Trump's minions have no clue how to undo the damage of the federal judiciary which is blocking almost everything they are trying to do. The Left is winning to date, and SCOTUS is joining in. Even Hegseth is running into brick walls in the Pentagon trying to install the Trumpian military ideals. Due to the Constitution, there is no "supreme being", no ultimate decision maker, in the federal government. That was a good thing by the FF, but it has its disadvantages, like why do we pay taxes to an institution that basically does nothing?
I think you're absolutely right, and sooner or later Trump is going to have to realize that if he is going to accomplish what he wants to do, he is going to have to assume the right of way and start disregarding at least some of the judges' commands. A good place to start is simply to refuse to comply with any nationwide injunction other than as regards the plaintiff and defendant. I think this is true even if the Supreme Court declines to address the issue of Nationwide injunctions in the upcoming birthright citizenship case.

Two Mexican nationals transporting 180,000 rounds of ammunition were arrested in Colorado last month after being pulled over by police in a traffic stop.
According to a federal arrest affidavit, the two men were pulled over for failing to dim the headlights on their vehicle as well as failing to use their signal to turn into a gas station.
41-year-old Caesar Ramon Martinez Solis and 24-year-old Humberto Ivan Amador Gavira were the two individuals arrested in Canon City on March 26th after officers discovered the two individuals were carrying around 150 boxes of .308 ammunition, as well as 30 boxes of 7.62 ammunition.
Each box of ammunition contained 1,000 rounds, totalling 180,000.
Both individuals were in the United States on nonimmigrant visas, which did not allow them to possess any weapons or ammunition for any reason, according to the affidavit.
Fremont County Sheriff’s Office contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents following the discovery, who interviewed the two individuals.
During the interview, Martinez Solis claimed that Amador Gavira is his brother-in-law and entered the United States a day prior to their arrest.
Martinez Solis went on to state that they traveled to Denver, purchased a van and drove to Salt Lake City where they purchased the ammunition and transported it across state lines to Colorado where they were ultimately detained.
“[Martinez Solis] further explained that he did not know the intent with the ammunition but that he believed it was destined for Pueblo, [Colorado],” according to the affidavit.
Both individuals were charged by federal prosecutors with Unlawful Possession of Ammunition by Alien Admitted Under a Nonimmigrant Visa on Wednesday.
In a press release, federal prosecutors described the case as “a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.”
