Thank you, James. Jeffrey Tucker's book, Spirits of America, is an excellent read in the run-up to the USA's 250th Anniversary. The book begins with the Meaning of the Sesquicentennial and ends with the Spirit of Forebearance. It should be noted that this book stands on the shoulders of the 1973 Eric Sloane classic, Spirits of '76. If you can find a copy, it is a fantastic addition to your library. Eric Sloane was an American painter of Americana pictures. Please give him a look-see.

With Obama who appeared to be a soft spoken African American lawyer turned community organizer turned US Senator, you now had a deep state plant well prepared to use all that charm to deceive people like my mom to bring about insanity in health care, foreign policy, and a dreadful censorship/propaganda driven agenda. Basically it allowed what Bush and Clinton started to become acceptable by the Times reading intelligentsia.

The older I get the more I find deepening appreciation for Kunstler's views and outlook. I am keenly appreciative that he continues to speak to objectives, aligns with truths, and stands on the shoulders of those who taught him. God bless him!! Colleen Brown

American values- rebelling against the mother country, slaughtering each other in a civil war, then exterminating the indigenous peoples after fobbing them off with numerous false treaty's, then off to cuba and the Philipines (a million murdered), then jumping in at the end of WW1, stirring up the japs in the 30's with sanctions, then WW2 ,the godsend for US corporate capitalism as GM & Ford churned out vehicles for both sides ,then the atomic age, using Japanese civilians as test subjects , the entrenchment of the MIC, then Korea ,using Jap war criminals to weaponise Anthrax & bubonic plague,then dropping it on N Korean civilians, then the slaughter in Vietnam, then the funding of Islamic terrorism in Afghanistan and then 9/11 and "The war of Terror" turning the middle east into an inferno and to cap it all off, sponsoring another genocide by immigrants in the zionist reich of Israel.
I'm sure I won't agree with all he has to say, but I like his attitude. He forthrightly says in his interview w/JHK that more people should read those authors they disagree in part with. I'm game, and I see the book has gotten good reviews.
