Feminism, guys, feminism. It's not "men," it's feminism, and nobody ever really talks about it. 90% of the women think they deserve the top 10% of the men. (The top 10%: 6 feet tall or taller, making 6 figures a year, 6-pack abs., Brad Pitt handsome.) Do the math. Also, almost all of the good women are already taken. There are lots of good men out there who get rejected because they aren't in the top 10%. It's because feminism taught women that they're entitled princesses, no matter what they bring to the table. And yes there are tons of weak, simpleton, feminized men. But the vast majority of men aren't that way and they aren't difficult to please. They just can't find a decent woman who will accept them. It's not the men. It's the women.

Maybe so. And maybe in America. But women that embrace “feminism” which is most often trying to emulate male behavior, tend to run into their own period of crisis. Especially when they pass their mid-30s and realize that where life brought them is not where they want to be. And that 90% of the men they once ignored want nothing to do with them either.

Sounds like a "Road Less Traveled" for the 21st century.

Hi JHK,

I loved that interview! This book would have been a great asset to me as a young woman. I have also benefitted a great deal from John Michael Greer's book, "A Magical Education."

I put the book The Preparation on my Wishlist. This is a great concept and mirrors the "gap year" that was/(maybe is?) popular in UK. My favorite Preparation site is this encyclopedic fountain of free information: https://collapsesurvivalsite.com/
