6) The sixth manipulation is controlled opposition. The voices you think are fighting for you are often funded by the same interests they pretend to oppose. I used to work in local tv news in a major market. When I left, I turned off local news. Several years later, I turned off national news. Mental/ emotional health tip: TURN OFF THE NEWS. If you want to know what's going on, look online. You can check sources you trust and are not being bombarded by death and destruction stories before you hear the story you want to hear.

This is Marxist nonsense. Billionaires are people who are really good at allocating capital and hence have been given more of it to allocate. "The 1%" are not a single entity with a single agenda. And the wealth of the billionaire class is not piles of money or consumer goods lying around: it is productive assets that become less efficient if they are redistributed to people who are worse at using them.

As for the media, these different billionaires have very different political ideas - and because of fiduciary duty, the corporations have to profit-maximize, so naturally media exists for every viewpoint. Like most of the rest of the Constitution, to get it to pass, it is ambiguous and has been modified and interpreted in all kinds of ways. It was never going to happen after 50 years of fighting about it in Congress. The South had run out of “legal” options to keep the abolitionists at bay. The Antebellum South was dying as the Industrial Revolution took off. Industrialization was moving into the South, starting with the cotton gin. The “boys” did not want their Little Eden to be destroyed, so they said “No”.

I used to work in local tv news in a major market. When I left, I turned off local news. Several years later, I turned off national news. Mental/ emotional health tip: TURN OFF THE NEWS. If you want to know what's going on, look online. You can check sources you trust and are not being bombarded by death and destruction stories before you hear the story you want to hear.
The only places I get news are Jeff Childers daily Coffee and Covid Substack and listening to the Charlie Kirk podcasts with Andrew Kolvet et al.

And, most importantly, set the example by *living* the way you believe society should live. It's a tall order for some, but completely possible to do. We don't have to stick our heads in the sand, but we *must* be able to control what we look at, listen to, and read then, on top of that, take the time to think about the content we just consumed. Also, IMHO, we have to stop thinking that everything a politician does is the best thing since sliced bread as long as they are a politician we worship and love. What you outline may be all well and good if we actually had a unified party behind it. But we don’t.
Republicans have already gone squishy on the color revolution taking place in MN, and their recent votes -and lack thereof- in Congress, and the Senate, already aiding in undoing much of what has already been accomplished, and refusing to push forward things that are essential to our success, does not bode well for the future. Add to all of that an AG who appears to in waay over her head along with a thoroughly corrupted judicial branch gone rogue, and a Congress holding the only power to rein them in but not lifting so much as finger to do so, the most grave and immediate danger to the future of this country is within our own party.
Losing the midterms will be game over.

For some reason, the sand in the ocean is a different grain type than deserts sand and makes better concrete.
Beach sand is mined farther out at sea, and doing so causes actual beach erosion.
Some of that beach erosion is on islands that are little more than built-up coral atolls, and then global warming is blamed for it.
