The judge in Tina Peters case made me want to vomit — how did that become a judge? Recently my eyes have been opened more and more to what a joke “judges” are — very inflated egos while wearing their robes and zero regard for the actual law and even less for truth.

Rick Parker's avatar

Hear, hear, Mindi. I've been practicing law for 27 years and most "judges" could not care less about the law or the facts.

Ron Anselmo's avatar

Yes, lost their moral compass, and not even interested in looking for it.

JohnAZ's avatar

Maybe they are involved?

Steve Mitzner's avatar

No, just mindless, unwitting cogs doing as they were trained in our Godless Prussian model of education school!

JohnAZ's avatar

I sorta disagree, the federal judges are in place to preserve the Deep State and oppose any Trumpian move to shrink the government. Not unwitting, just determined to preserve and expand the Federal government thus their power. Even the GOP appointed RINO crowd. Trump has very few friends amongst the judge corps.

Steve Mitzner's avatar

I was talking about Horace Mann, the "Father of American Public Schools," Who was deeply impressed by Prussia's Model "education," I.e., designed to make mindless cogs, to support the industrial complex, as educator John Gatto's book on that topic mentions! I.e., what got us here to moral & financial bankruptcy!

Not sure there, Okie. Always nice to hear from you though, even though I think your reply was to others. ;)

Give some credit to our adopted/ Godless compulsory Prussian model education system, designed to produce obedient cogs to support the industrial complex!!! Wouldn’t you like to see that?"

Nothing would make me happier, only, stiffen the marshals with an entire company of combat-ready U.S. marines. If we can rescue that ship from the Cambodian pirates in 1975, we can rescue a defenseless 70 year-old woman from the exact same crew of outlaws and thieves in Colorado.

As for James's advertised Christmas book, I read it last year and found it to be charming and fascinating. Highly recommended!

All very interesting. Of course, nothing will come of all this other than the democrats taking greater caution to veil their well-entrenched methods of warping vote tallies in their favor. Probably the only real cure-all would be producing identification in order to vote...a common sense means to ensure relatively secure elections. That the democrats fight this tooth and nail tells us all we need to know. As an aside, I would add that if anything in the political process is open to question, elections would be at the very top of the list. If events do not correspond with logic or reason, it would be the hallmark of insanity to remain mute. If it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, perhaps it is a duck. If it is not, then why virulently resist further investigation?

JohnAZ's avatar

Without legitimate voting processes that can distinguish vote differences to 1% or finer, the Constitution is a sham, the idea of a people responsive Congress is a joke, and the Deep State will become an autocracy or even a dictatorship. The goal has to be paper, no computers, one citizen, one vote elections with no mail in or harvesting of ballots. IMHO, ballot harvesting is the best fit for what was observed in 2020. Why have the judges interfered in investigating? They are involved in the fraud. Colorado is a corrupted piece of crap, but actually split in half with the Front Range over run with carpetbagging Wokesters and LBTGQ+ folks and the Western slope middle of the road. Like Arizona, the Left just keeps eating away at sanity with immigrants outweighing citizens.

Cankerpuss's avatar

It's simple, JohnAZ.

When one enters a voting location, they do the following:

1. Provide identification that they are a citizen.

2. Dip their finger in ink that does not wash off for a week or so.

3. Are given a paper ballot.

4. Enter a little booth with curtains and cast their vote.

5. Drop the ballot in a box and leave the premises. Their finger is inked so no double voting.

6. Votes are counted by multiple chubby old ladies under the watchful eye of both Democrat and Republican observers.

7. Precinct results are tallied and sent to the County and then the state.

Done.

Wait. Isn't this how our elections used to be done?

It's too easy. It will never happen. Nothing easy every happens in this screwed up country of ours.

JohnAZ's avatar

Agree with you. Add on, one of the opposers are the media folks who love election nights and being able to race each other to call elections. What a bunch of crap.

If it takes a week to count the vote, who cares? Legitimate results are paramount for this country to continue. If it is a Leftist sewer, it should be able to have its folks in charge, and allow Patriot folks to get the hell out of Dodge.

If it is not, let the Leftist dolts get the hell out of Dodge.

Scott's avatar

One addition - counts are delivered that night, no multiple weeks of "counting". If it's not delivered by midnight it doesn't count. Demonrats keep "finding" more ballots until the desired result is achieved. Three Orange County seats were lost on this manner in the last election.

Doggie Dad's avatar

We're going the opposite way. Ranked Choice Voting is creeping in so that voting and the results can be so confusing that neither the voters nor the vote counters can understand or explain the results.

tom clark's avatar

Agreed, Cank... those chubby old ladies are too damn slow for today's world!

Original Grandpa's avatar

I disagree, Tom. I believe we have foolishly allowed the world to accelerate to the point that it is now too fast for comfort, civility, and clarity... likely we were too busy to heed the "chubby old ladies" (probably our mothers) telling us quietly to "hold your horses, there, child; before you rush headlong into something that will hurt..."

But we didn't listen...

JohnAZ's avatar

tom clark's avatar

2020 is ancient history in today's world, JAZ. You make a good point but alas, paper ballots, no computers, one citizen, one vote elections with no mail-in ballots is but a pipe dream.

Ron Neff's avatar

Mr. Clark----- and.....how about everyone dipping their index finger into a bowl of ink that cannot be washed off ? Iraqis did this in their first free vote over 20 years ago but....somehow the U.S. is too backward to emulate a 4th world country like Iraq?

And.....no curiosity from the NYT about the fact that Kamala's vote total was so far under Joe's ? 81M vs 71M ? And.....Joe's vote total was very far above KIng Obama's total as well? Joe Biden got 81 million votes and Obama got 69 million votes------ nobody but me thinks this is strange since Joey has never been very popular and....everyone knows he is dumb as a box of rocks, even before he had dementia and King O is the truly sainted one ??

Massive fraud in 2016 as well and the real reason Hillary was so ticked off was she knew they stole millions of votes but....;they did not steal quite enough in a few states so......thank God she lost.

JohnAZ's avatar

But it needs to be a goal for the folks who want to fix this country.

Cankerpuss's avatar

You're right Tom Clark. The PTB won't let it happen. But the solution is there. It's simple. If we want honest elections ever again, it must happen. It won't. But it must.

Cape Tribulation's avatar

DefCon-Dan's avatar

That is all so very true.

Before the 2020 scamdemic, mail in ballots were only available for citizens living outside of the US. That was probably one of the goals for the scamdemic.

Until they eliminate mail in voting for citizens living inside the US, as it was before, and require proof of citizenship, no election will be reliable.

Ron Neff's avatar

Thomas----and the Dem/Marxists will even suggest without saying it directly that Blacks are too stupid to get be able to get any gov't issued ID so......it is racist to make it mandatory. And.....most Black people do not seem to take offense at this-----a little strange.

Democrats during the 1850s and 1860 fought and died in order to keep Blacks as slaves on the plantations but.......the Blacks walked right back to the plantations and willingly made themselves slaves to the current Dems which are just as racist as the ones 160 years ago EXCEPT------ the Blacks that have the audacity to be conservative and tell the Dems they do not need them in order to succeed in America. Those Blacks are called everything except a Black person and are shunned and told they are not really Black because they think for themselves.

Deana's avatar

"most Black people do not seem to take offense at this-----a little strange."

The Left hustles in racism and the gatekeepers of the lack of ID notion are the Black people within the Democrat party. The benefit from the fraud and grift so it isn't that strange that they don't call it out (see Georgia for more).

Many Black people see that their worst enemies are those of their own race. It's a topic all over social media these days.

There was a black family that lived in my mostly white community. They were politically moderate and were a well-functioning two-parent family. They said that they were never discriminated against in the community. Their two daughters were both straight-A students and the older daughter was the Valedictorian of her high school graduating class. Both daughters EARNED merit scholarships at a prestigious state University, but one well-known for its radical leftist bent. It was there that those two fine young ladies suffered their first taste of racial discrimination--not from whites, but from other what would now be called "DEI"-admitted black students. Those black "students" called those two fine young ladies "Oreos"--black on the outside, white on the inside. Both of those young ladies graduated with honors after transferring to another University, one that actually believed in teaching students something other than leftist activism. One went on to become an M.D.--and is now considered one of the top in her specialty in the country.

Thomas's avatar

It is part of the overall pattern of "soft" bigotry employed against blacks. The civil war may have ended 160 years ago, but the underlying mindset - people of color are not quite the same as whites and require special handling...naturally at the hands of the left (the nouveau overseers) - is alive and well. However, I will grant that in the instance of voter ID, the left merely finds it a convenient canard.

Vegan Shark's avatar

The "underlying mindset" is true, not "soft bigotry." POC are not the same as whites, and endlessly trying to pretend that they are the same as or better than whites has resulted in the terrible racial animosity the DEI gangsters feast on.

But, Thomas, is the cause of this Whites or Blacks or Muslims? The divisions increasing today use Trump as the cause, but he has done nothing to divide the country. reality maybe is going to change that though.

Cankerpuss's avatar

I met someone who was a witness from Trump during the Jill Stein recount in Wayne County [Detroit and environs]. The ballot totals were marked on the top of the box. It certainly would be nice to see Ms Peters released, particularly during the Christmas season! 👍 It would also be instructive to examine the disparate treatment of those involved in the J6 protests (mostly peaceful) with the treatment of those involved in actively attempting to overthrow the Trump administration. Think Comey, Clapper, Brennan, James, Bragg, Clinton, et al. If ever there was a coordinated activity that threatened the very foundation of the republic, it is the actions of theater treasonous miscreants ☠️, who were heavily assisted by the corrupt legacy media. As a programmer, I've known about the problem with voting machines since their initial implementation. Most people have no idea how easy it is to manipulate the vote. A 10yo could write the code needed to alter any election, and the idea that it wasn't done is naive at best.

All elections need to be hand counted with absolutely no computers involved in tabulation.

There is no doubt 2020 was rigged and Democrats cannot sustain their power base without cheating. Mostly this is done with illegal aliens being counted in the census, voting outright and abusing the mail in ballot scam perpetrated through the Covid scam. Never mind the fallout of the Wuhan flu engineered and released by the DNC for the sole purpose of election cheating.

We may never know the whole story, but anyone with a brain already knows the whole story.

One end around could be to "charge" Peters with a federal crime, take her into federal custody, then dismiss the charges and release her into a safe jurisdiction where she can't be extradited back to Colorado. These judges are completely out of control.

wkenn's avatar

Interesting idea.

Apparently there is some discussion regarding the pardon power in light of the 13 original countries coming together to form the United States. By extension of the act of joining the other states, the newly formed United States agreed to abide by the Constitution of the United States. The pardon power solely resides in the Executive branch (Article II). Since it exists in the Federal government as enumerated, it is not a 10th Amendment issue.

The Peters case might result in a test of this theory.

1. Make an example of this case, have the FBI investigate, interview everyone involved (governor, judges, prosecutors, press, witnesses) - and make arrests. Give them the same “justice” that they gave a 69 year old grandmother.

2. Establish a presidential commission to review our current judicial system and all the bad / questionable decisions being made, and address what appears to be a multi-tiered approach to “justice”, especially in cases involving politics.

Number 6's avatar

Gym: Love to see that happen but the reality is that so many delays could be produced that it would have no chance of resulting in action within Trump's term. Motions being filed, various Dem judges issuing injunctions, appeals taking place at each step, and so on.

Lawfare is designed to make sure nothing happens quickly. Attorneys love it, as it increases the billable hours. Politicians love it because it preserves the status quo. Congressional subpoenas are now a joke. Even when people show up and obfuscate or lie or say they "can't remember," there are no consequences.

The only thing that might work is bold executive action, which Trump doesn't seem to be up to. Marshalls and 300 Marines with APC's and tanks showing up at the dungeon where Peters is being held might work. I don't see it happening, and of course it would establish a precedent that the Dems would use when their turn comes.

Once the entire Congress was corrupted as well as the Judiciary, the Constitution was rendered null and void despite pretenses.

Sorry to be a downer.

Sidebar - If you want to go to Colorado for its weather, think again. It has some of the worst weather in the USA. 300 days of Sun per year is a joke. Reality is, cold, snow 8 months of the years, and violent thunderstorms with lots of hail the remaining four months. Not an idyllic place. For the skiers, good place.
